Ha Ha thats funny Colleen, you are a hoot! Gosh it didn't rain here today till just now and I was able to trim back the out of control Climbing Hydrangea while Billy boy, my hubby was building a place to put all that wood that won't fit into the woodshed. He tore it down once and started all over again. Practice makes perfect and he has to have it just right or he won't be satisfied! Kind of like me and my rocks around the waterfall................house cleaning, not so much

High today 43 with 50 percent chance of rain. We have two ski resorts here and the biggest and oldest one was due to open Dec. 5th but I'm thinking that's not going to happen. Another weird winter. Extended forecast is rain and then snow for a couple of days and then rain again.

Temps going back to normal eventually, which is fine! Hard on the animals this up and down, their fur coats not sure if they need to grow or shed! I love my furnace not running the last 3 days, though! Had screen door open all day yesterday. Only getting up to high 50's today, low 50's tomorrow, but it's still great! Rain today, which we really need. Have not had much rain this year, need to play catch up. I just hope not in the form of tons of snow. Nothing more than 6" at a time is good for me!

Tried to get the weather banner set up but didn't work. Dental work is better today and at least the bank let me know there was a problem. Caught it fast so will have to be careful about online purchases. Narrowed it down to Snapfish or Caremark as those were the only companies that had my #. Love Bank of America-

If they try to hack my account they won't get much, cause I spent it all! Ha ha ha. I don't keep much in my daily regular account, the one I do have money in, you can't access, you have to actually go into the bank and see the bank teller to withdraw, had it set up that way so I couldn't make rash "panic purchases" at the spur of a moment. Then a portion of my pay gets directly deposited into that account for savings. That was the only way I could save money!

We had a big warm Chinnok wind blow in this morning, right now it is 50 degrees! Going to take the puppies to the park before it gets dark!

My roses are still blooming, too, they must be really hardy as we have had some hard frosts already, and temps down to the 20's. Your flowers are gorgeous, Addy! Is that a hydrangea maybe? I don't have one of those, and they sure have changed that type of plant, so wondering if that is one of the newer varieties! Whatever it is, it's beautiful, and in December no less! WOW!
I just signed up for an interest bearing checking account at the same bank I have banked at for 35 years. Always has been free checking, no fees, EVER! Now they are going to pay for my ATM fees, I will get 3.5% interest (which is unbelievable to say the least!!!), and all I have to do is have at least one direct debit (I have 4 of my bills direct debited, so I'm good there) and use my debit card at least 10 times a month (I usually use it for everything, so that's no problem). Does everyone know that retailers that accept debit cards pay something like 1.5% to the banks? Those debit cards are quite the money makers for our banks. Credit card companies get 2-3% from retailers, which is why you will see those swipe machines wanting your PIN number when you use your debit card. They used to ask "debit or credit", but most of them now don't give you the choice. if it's a debit card, you have to use your PIN number to use it. Wal-Mart is that way anyhow around here, and other bigger chains, too. I don't blame them! We use them as a convenience, and it's a convenience to the retailers, too, as they know if there is money in that bank account, but they have to pay for the services, too. Glad we don't have to pay to use our debit and credit cards! Well, I guess we really are, as those fees are figured into the bottom line of purchases.

With our daycare that the wife runs, we accept debit cards too. It's super easy to do. We have to pay a 1.5% fee as well. Most of our parents pay in cash or check, but there have been a few that use it.
