You guys never fail to lift the dark clouds over my head and make me laugh.... women do rule! Ha ha ha.... and clean up those crumbs too! Ha ha ha. Funny, no matter where you are, it's always the same story, we are tired of being the maid, the cook, and the cleaner! In the beginning we lure you men with nice home cooked meals, clean house, and play nice maid.... after a while it wears out! Ha ha ha. Then your stuck with us OLD HAGS!!! HA HA HAA!!

we love ya john / was in the 60's today and spent it all day at the doctors so only enjoyed it a tiny bit .But my son thought of me and bought me a new Ipod for music and he downloaded a bunch of my fav. songs .Made it easier now to just sit around all day .He has to call thursday for his blood tests and then it's another doctor friday

Hope you are better soon sissy. You are one strong lady whom I truly respect. How is your husband?

Me and the hubby joke all the time, you got to laugh or life would be depressing, with all the things that life can hit you with. Poor hubby was extra cranky after getting "round one" of radiation last week. So I get cranky when he is cranky, then feel bad for him and tell him to "beat me with his cane" for being such an old hagg and then he would feel better, then sometimes I pretend to be the "girlfriend" and we talk about the "bad wife"(me)! After getting out of the hospital last month, they "appointed" him a "social worker", they do that with all "major" cases, just to be sure he is getting proper care. So he just loves it when we joke about if I am not "extra" nice and take "extra" good care of him, the "social worker" will come! My hubby just loves the extra love and affection, and I sure do try hard to be "extra nice" these days.... so happy to just have him home "cranky and alive!"

I am not sick ,sorry these doctors appointments are for my hubby .Gosh I even got to watch when my hubby was in surgery through a glass window .Only time it scared me and held my breath was the 4 times they had to use the paddles to bring him back .Amazing thing a stent is .I had never heard of one before this surgery .I'm like a clock i just keep ticking . :razz: hope you are feeling better L and hope you are taking care of yourself .I told my hubby he can't die because February we will be married 40 years and if he thinks he is getting off that easy I will kick his butt . :razz: :heartpump: :razz:

Laughing in life is my favorite thing. W/o laughter life would be pretty dull. Got to have fun and enjoy life to it's fullest and make enjoying times for others while you are at it. Your hubby will have a better recovery w/ you to make him laugh and it will help him heal. No kidding there is something in laughter that sets off some chemical reaction in your body to help heal...............well isn't there?

Then my bowl is full of nuts or is that empty .I have to check that one out .Doctor sure got a laugh from me today .He said i made his day not sure what i said but he sure did laugh .I actually know what I said but geeze can't say it on here . oh well I say what i think and need a zipper on my mouth sometimes .Laughter makes your funny bones hurt .

This hubby is 10 yrs younger than first hubby..........so he better stay alive! Or they might start calling me the black widow!

We re getting rain with a slight mix of sleet. maybe some snow tonight, maybe.

Well I think it's time to pull the pump. Currently 10*f and the pond is half iced over. Will work on that when I get home.

yesterday 60 today rain but gosh we needed rain since we have not seen rain for almost 2 months .I even had to add a lot of water to the pond because of it ,at least I hope that is why .

I looked at the filters and the hoses and saw no leaks and also thinking it could have been that i took the pots of grasses out of the pond and did not really look at how far the pond lowered .I was in a hurry and just took them out because heard on the news it was supposed to get down to 29 degrees that night .I looked this morning and it is down an inch .So turning on the hose for a few minutes soon .I need to flush out the hose first .
