What is your weather like ... today

Yes, that's our city, battered by wind and rain. And still it continues as of Sat. 8pm. Rain, so much of it. Almost 24" in our backyard, I have a big tub collecting to show the ". Not over yet. When will it end? But we are fine here, my pond is fine and our 4 cats and all my fish tanks are fine too. Other residents of our city not so fine though.

Snowing.
Flurries, not any accumulation.
Supposed to get warmer in the next couple of weeks. I hope so.
Way too much still needs to get done around here before snow hides the landscape!

It is still raining, just won't stop. We are over 24" in our part of town. The rivers are flooding badly, power will be out for a long time for a lot of people. I feel very fortunate to have ours back. the public aquarium at the beach, where I am a volunteer, is running on generator power to keep all the thousands of fish and other creatures alive, but have only 2 more days of diesel fuel, a very dire situation. Hope fuel can get to them on Bogue Banks island in the town of Pine Knoll Shores if you want to look it up online. It is 45 mi. east of us.

glad you are OK and here I have had to leave out over 500 gallons of water out of my pond .As fast as I leave it the rain and wind bands come back around a fill it back up and the 2 4inch over fills cannot handle it and besides that the dump the water right where I don't need more water like that flowing .I sure don't want to wash the hill away at the bottom of the yard .We are getting another band of rain now .We had flood warnings here and in Danville and Martinsville .Even the speedway is flooded .The stream down the road from me which is over 10 feet from the top of the road made it up to the road .Across the road from me it was almost up to the road on those empty lots ,then owner of lots wonder why they can't sell those lots ,REALLY

Gosh when will it stop raining back there? I keep hearing it is only going to get worse! Can't believe how bad it looks back there. Devastation everywhere and will take forever to get things livable for so many people. I won't be complaining about the rain we get here..................not for awhile anyways.

I am going to keep in my mind that I will always choose to live on high ground for sure as I have seen it flood around here but nothing like back there.

how true jw but walking outside is like walking on a wet sponge and lots of mushrooms growing every where .It is windy again and heavy rain .Emptied more water from the pond again

It was mid 80s today, a good day to be out.

Upper 80's the last few days. Still in a severe drought. I am seeing several trees die. Mostly Yellow Birch. They require a little more water. It looks like the hurricane will give southern Vermont about 3 inches. None for my county.
