What is your weather like ... today

I may be crazy but I have never seen the ocean. I think it would be neat to sit along the shore and watch the huge waves roll in from a hurricane. But I'm also the guy that grabs his camera and jumps in the jeep to try and find tornadoes when they are coming my way. When we were signing the lease for our house 2 years ago a tornado hit about a half mile from our house and leveled a few houses. We had no damage but got 4"s of rain in 30 mins.

I have been two the ocean a few times, not many, over my lifetime. Each time I go I love to swim and feel the waves "carry me away". I swam one time in Wasaga Beach in Ontario, in that bay, and just loved it. Swam as far out as I could, with the big sailboat, loved the feel, I must be crazy too!! swam in Cuba too, jumped off a boat, but was kinda scared of getting eatin by a shark!

Sandy is now predicted to being pull south as it approaches the east coast by the cold front, they are predicting it will hit pa, md, dc, va. Hit just a tiny north of us............. They are calling it a hybrid storm....hard to predict. Non stop warnings to get ready for anything 5-8 inches of rain, winds etc.

They are bring in extra crews to restore power if all goes out.

And Full moon and high tide right when it hits, so the coast areas need to worry about flooding..............

Playing daredevil with both hurricanes and tornadoes can be deadly. Our family has expressed both multiple times over our lives. Please listen and adhere to warnings given by authorities. Deadly storms are just that deadly. Stay safe my friends. God bless you all.

I go to Atlantic City alot i have friends there and was there for a couple of major storms and sure would not want to be there afgain .i called my son and cousin in NJ to see if they were ready for this storm .My cousins name happens to be Sandy ,her fault it is coming to find her :razz: gosh colleen snow I don't want to see it at all .

Its OK Sissy, the snow won't hurt when it gently falls, will make everything fresh and clean, and Pee Wee poo will disappear!! Ha ha ha, I'm happy your going to get SNOW!!!! Ha ha ha, join the "snow club" ha ha ha, look at the bright side ..... the country will turn all white overnight! I'm just a "riot" today! Have a nice time making snowmen Sissy!!! He he he.

Woke up to Thin IcE on the pond, surface water temperature zero. Currently around 12 degrees. Poppy chocolate logs should be frozen and will look for frozen chocolate logs today!!!

I have a feeling our eastern coast ponders are getting hit! Not heard from Sissy since yesterday a.m., and same with Addy! Hope you ladies and all others over there are safe! Will be anxious to hear from you all after the storms hit, and that you are safe and sound, and praying for no damage as well.
I had 34F this a.m., but bright sunshine, and windy. Up to 41 now, not going to get much more than low 50's though.

The weather here is going to be very nice a little wind and high 80's cant ask for better then that for pond building.

Sunny yet chilly here today. Going with my son and grandson to watch my university's annual alumni vs collegiant baseball game. Yes, I wrote baseball. Sure hope they have hot chocolate! Go Northwood Blue Knights Alumni!
