What is your weather like ... today

But Sandy is on the way and wonder where it will hit .Could be a major hit or just a minor one and that will depend on which model is right .In the 80's again today but supposed to get down to the 60's next week .

We are going from the 80's to 50's with 30's at night time over the next few days.

I am just hoping all the stain and sealer I put on the front porch and side porch has plenty of time to cure before rain from Sandy hits saturday .Yesterday I finished with them both but still have to do the decks off the back of the house and have to restain the guest house.

Good luck Sissy. Years back I repainted the small deck then freezing weather hit that night. I just let the deck be and when the temperature warmed the paint dried just fine.

I really like your home and property. I bet you have a good small tractor to tend to that acreage!

LOL my little red one is my sports car

this one does some of the mowing but really would rather have a zero turn with the regular steering wheel as it is easier to steer .This one you need to keep both hands on the steering bars to keep control


this one does the bulk of the work and I love it .

I hear Sandy is hitting harder and stronger then they thought it would so all you out there getting hit w/ her be watchful and batten down the hatches and stay safe! I heard the east might get dumped on w/ a bunch of snow!
Dry here today so back to the wood cutting...........yes I know it goes on and on, but we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.......or trees :razz: Rain after today for 5 days at least straight :sad:

The current model has it hitting just north of us. We will get either rain, snow, winds no way to guess until it comes!

yep seems the pressure is down and will hit NJ and PA by the looks of it so far .But you never know with storms like this and everyone will get something from this one .I made sure today to move things in that wind could lift .Don't want any flying danger

Hey guys, I was IN my pond this evening, trimming the lilies, and got all the elephant ear plants out and put in a bucket for now. Going to let them dry out, replant in the spring. Got in the house after dark, had shorts and tshirt on, very comfy! Light breeze ... then WHAM!!! The winds picked up all of a sudden, and within 45 minutes the temp dropped 20 degrees. I don't mind it getting cooler, but does it have to do it all at once? Geesh! It was at least 75 still when I came inside at about 7, and by 7:30 it was 55, still dropping, high winds, rain ... yuck yuck yuck!

Got more "white fluffy stuff" today, just a little today, fell so softly from the sky....
