What is your weather like ... today

Really weird that we got our first spots of frost Monday and now we are having rain and decvent temps. Thunderstorms last night off and on. around an inch of rain. stil misting and sprinkling off and on.

Turns out we got lucky, ICSD71! South of us not very far (maybe 50 miles) and to the east got upwards of 6" last night and today! My boss was driving to court, had to pull over, everyone was pulled over, could not see to drive. Then learned that area got 4-6", and some areas around that even more. She said some roads were flooded and water up to bridges. Around by me, little bit of water in the ditches, light rain, perfect! Now, it can please stop, though, I'd like to ride the new mule again this weekend and preferably not in the mud. Ended up with 1.7" so that was perfect for a 2 day light rain.

I guess the bullfrogs are loving this warmer wet weather. Probably are 4-6 that jump into the ponds as I come outside. Few sit on the edges, the ones that are more likely to wait for a grass hopper from me. This guy was sitting up on the rocks at the end of the waterfall this evening. Thought he was in a really different "pose". He's huge, and I'd not seen the one I called Grand Daddy Bullfrog for about a month or more, so wondering if this is him, or another one that came to visit.

Love the rock that is behind him in the close up. It's one of my favorites my daughter picked up for me last summer before she came home from UT with my trailer! Wish now I had asked her to get a bunch more!

UT= is that Tennessee? Tennessee has beautiful rocks! Looks like it's got some Crystal in it?

Nope, UT stands for Utah. My daughter lives out there. TN is Tennessee. Yes, I think it has crystal stuff in it. On the waterfall, I have all sorts of UT rocks, the favorites right by where the frog was sitting, although you can't see most of them from this angle. I got 3 pics of him and then he jumped into the water.

Days are getting cooler and so are the nights. Fish are slowing down. Not looking forward to winter. If I could I'd move me and the fish to the bahamas. Lol

Yes and then you get the bad weather flooding rains high taxes and hurricane insurance plus all the metal rusts or corrodes away .I have a friend who just moved here from Hawaii and he can't believe the savings .No flood or hurrican insurance and no replacing faucets or appliances every 2 or 3 years .No salty air and no high prices to replace things or build things and no high gas prices or grocery prices ..Plus he had a pond there and they were always missing .So mt you still want to live like that .Paradise has a price .

I agree with you, Sissy. I like to visit warm tropical places, but I don't think I would want to live there. I saw a brand new house on the shore in Bonaire, and I could not believe all the precautions they had to take for the sea air damage, and what had already been replaced and they had not even moved in yet! That alone would make me steer clear of the sea shore, even if I was a millionaire! Love to visit, though!
And, Addy, that was priceless!!! Poor poor John ... NOT!
