Bad Bert and Aggie! It was a chilly 44 here this morning! Sure glad I closed the windows at dusk last night, as house was 62. Turned the heat on to take off the chill a little. Beautiful sunny day predicted again, though. Wish I thought of bringing some of the wood out before they loaded 12 round bales in front of it! Will have to climb on top of bales to get to the wood, but I sure would have loved an outside fire last night! Maybe if I bring it out, stack it ready to light, I'll have a fire this weekend. Probably should get some type of a ring to keep fire contained, though. :) Maybe neighbors have old tractor wheel rim that is no good and I can have.

Oh, no ... Sissy is using her toilet bowl brush on her pond! What next???   I have a designated brush, too, for my waterfall rocks and such. Fish love it when I "clean", as the remnants come down to them for treats! Still have this spongey algae in my goldfish bog, but man that stuff is soooo easy to remove! It comes out in hand sized sponges, and then voila, it's gone ... until the next week. LOL I much prefer removing it to other types of algae, like string algae, which I don't have any of this time of year. Only had problems with it in March, when we had 80 degree temps!

The fog monster cometh! We are getting heavy fog in the mornings now that does not lift till noon to nice warm sunshiny each days.
Sorry to see the Summer leaving us as it took so long getting here this year. Will be a long wait for the next one unless we pack up and boogie down to Arizona for awhile

Just got back to town from Calgary, had a nice time at park with hubby and puppies, and got lots of "road kill" onions!
Weather just nice here right now, 70 degrees, but clouds gathering on the horizon.

Got 1.5" of rain total, but what a wonderful storm! Lots of thunder and pretty sky flashing over and over, but no major lightening strikes close, and no 60 mph winds, so it was wonderful to go to sleep listening to. Warmer here this morning, too, after being 37 yesterday a.m.! Sunny and 64, working way up to 70's today. Loving it!

I agree addy, great walking weather. Only in the 40's now and foggy but 60's later. Fall is nice when it's still sunny and no rain yet!
Road kill onions, what a neat find Colleen!
CE I love listening to the thunder storms and rain at night too.............it's so calming unless of course it is cracking down trees all around you and if it's so close you feel like the next one will be the end! Guess what I really like is the sound of the distant storms
