What does your pond look like ... Today?

Lots of spawning going on the past few days. They do make quite a mess of the pond with all the wild activity. We have one female who got pretty banged up - the boys actually shoved her into the skimmer basket (and she really didn't fit well!)

Poor Ellie didn't know what to make of all this!

Added unscented clay cat litter as a planting medium but to also hold the light and frog pedestal in place. Now just need to add plants to this. Still have some parts on order which is why the surrounding landscape hasn’t progressed much over the past 2 days.

Our fishless pond is slowly transitioning onto a water garden .

Our pickerel , bog bean and water willow are all in bloom too!

Very pretty lily w/the frog, fish.................and had to look darn hard to finally find that snail!

New plants are finally settling in. Loving the way the mosaic plants are turning out.

Beginning to really love the floating hearts! No bloom's today, but loving the mini-waterlily like foliage. This is my first experience with these.

They do well, and bloom alot. I have with my lilies and yank it now and then for control of it.

They are doing well in my frog pond. Haven't bloomed yet tho.

More summertime color

My purple poppy mallow is doing well by the waterfall again this year. Like last year, I'm guiding it to grow over the top of the rocks.
