Spent last week cleaning up the pond. The irises and other marginals should remain green throughout winter as they usually do.

Well finally got a frost .I even had flower buds on my apple tree and no leaves on it .I really need to update my camera date .I forgot to after battery went dead .senior moment .I just realized it now .LOL

I am in Virginia so far from tropical .I live 15 minutes from the nc border and it got to 29 degrees last night BRRRR

my banana pods did not make it ,my boys are cuddly uncle bert is now 3 feet long

got up to 67 today and was 29 last night and cleaned up dead banana plants and took off bananas

No kidding the redbuds were putting out leaves, same with the apple trees.

I had carpet phlox blooming recently, as well as a few of the woodland phlox. I have several batches of daffodils shoving leaves out of the ground. ?? This wacky weather gets them all confused.

yesterday morning 29 degrees this morning already 46 degrees .I don't want winter and the short days it is boring .At least though it has given me time to put up al the new moldings .They came preprimed at least and painting them the ultra white ,16 doors geeze and they need to be perfect

messed around with the pondcams; pics showing pond under it's winter tent and fish down below after topping off the water level a bit. Think I woke most of them up!
