LOL addy ponds are holes in the ground . No way past that . But the more you put into it the more work there is always to do . Ponding work never ends . I am glad that I built mine up after the flooding rains we have had over the years . This last Helene storm was a nightmare here . Flooding everywhere

I have not touched my big pond in many years. It is stable
Built it to require minimal maintenance.

The smaller loop ponds I have had to do edge maintenance, deer walk on the edges, stream, once a year, spring fix edgesrocks etc, deer walk on.

I wil never finish . The new peformed pond I got for free is now going to be a plant pond . I am looking at putting a solar aerator in it . Been looking at them on ebay . the big pond needs no work . I can never find anything made in America any more . The aerator I got was made in China and so are all lagunas and just about everything else . I even googled them

All this made in China stuff will hopefully change soon!
Not saying anymore or I will get myself into trouble 🥰

Well that's an understatement besides or friends on the other side of the pond , the last I checked they are all a hole in the ground.

Your creation is hardly a hole in the ground and no thought. Your build in the hill side as ND multiple ponds is insanely creative

Not with me @j.w it's going to get ugly before it gets better no doubt about that but I am very encouraged.

Saw some of my fish today for the first time in a long time. Well, at least their orange color below the ice and bubbles.
Hard to believe within the next two or three weeks the pond will be back up and running!

The pond is thawed and temps look decent for the foreseeable future. Might have to get the pond going soon.
