ice yesterday 60 degrees today WELL WHAT NEXT . Lots of trees in woods behind me fell because of weight of ice . I just got down cleaning up back there and now more to clean up Cut down 30 trees that were bent over and rented a commercial mulcher and mulched most of them the last 2 weeks and now this gain . My chainsaw is getting a workout lately . But I think my homelite saw my dad bought me for my 12th birthday may be on it's last legs . remember how mad my mom was when she saw dad bought me my own chainsaw ( she said no girl wants a chainsaw ) but then saw how happy I was with it . I am now almost 72 years old now . So it has lasted . Bet they are not made that well anymore

Whoa too much work for one person! Hope you had some help. Hubby and I work together on getting wood for our stove. I would never do it all by myself!

And I would love for it to be 60f right about now here! It was not even in the teens this morning when I got up!

Glad we don't get ice storms here. We do have some snow on the ground and it is beautiful but trying to leave me. Rain on the way soon but then at least the temps will rise, maybe even up to 50f..................HALLELUJAH!!! And right now it's clear and sunny so won't be a bad walk after about noon when the temps rise in the 30's.

In Washington state the last few weeks have been cold. Took some effort and refilling to keep things going but have not had to turn it off.

Here is a cool short I took of the stream completely frozen over but still running:

Here is the main falls snowed and somewhat frozen:

Yep and did get a trace more of new snow last night, yay! Sad tho it is warming up and melting :(
I am not totally sad. Mine has frozen over and even spilled over a few times with the ice (I have a few things to fix in the spring). So I am glad not to have to monitor so close. My auto-fill is off right now cause it would have exploded...
