@BKHpondcritters , your able bodied assistants are mighty cute !! I'm sorry this happened. Your pond is beautiful and looks well established , so I'm sure it'll rebound quickly.

@j.w : This info is from a plant site. I have other colors and the hummingbirds love them !!

Major Wheeler Honeysuckle (Lonicera) is a non-stop bloomer coloring the garden from late spring through the summer with showy clusters of orange-red flowers. Considered to be the longest blooming variety of honeysuckle and a superior flower for the hummingbirds.

I have them on order from 2 different companies. Can't wait to get them. Maybe they will choke out the wild honeysuckle that has taken over the yard.

Purging way to much anacharis out of the hot tub pond, tossing into the fish filled bigger ponds. They will eat it up.

While doing that took a few shots of some lilies and iris that are blooming. And this beauty showed up and sat on the fence post. Looking for frogs.

The purple ones are showing up everywhere, think the squirrels are grabbing seeds and planting them everywhere.

now that is a pink flower .My iris are almost all done flowering .I see I have a boatload of peach's and apples and pears .I got a great sprayer at rural king for 7.99 it can spray up to 10 feet .1 gallon but that is enough .At least the spraying of the house for mildew and mold will be easier from the ground instead of trying to balance on a ladder with the sprayer .Be easier to clean the outside of the gutters also

@addy1, whats the delicate fern-like foliage behind this flower?
Parrots feather. I have three varieties all came back this winter. Two were not supposed to survive. It is growing like weeds.

But they also survived last winter which was colder.

Pretty Lily, addy! You have to be 3-4 weeks ahead of us up here.

Pics from today. Year 2 and still have some more strategic stone placement to go. I keep hunting for free ones but anything of decent size is too heavy to dead lift into the bed of the pickup. Wish I had a trailer and 1 ton pickup so I could drive my tractor to the free stones about 30 mins from me. The guy is saying take all you need, please!
