Just make sure you don't feel anything squishy between your toes ,could be a problem:) .What about your snails ,I am guessing by now they are huge

They are from very tiny to darn large. I go in bare foot so I don't step on them. Push them out of the way with my feet. Every now and then I do squish one, the fish go crazy eating it.

I finally took a pretty good shot of our biggest trout, Miss Leo, after hundreds of blurred attempts. We thought she was Mr. Leo until she spawned a couple years ago. To give you some perspective, the comet in the foreground is twelve inches long:View attachment 83328
Awesome Red! I will be stocking my second pond with Rainbows in the spring. My brook trout are so illusive, I rarely get a glimpse.

How nice. I haven't had one water lily bloom yet. I don't want to fertilize them again because it caused an algae bloom the last time.
I feel your pain. Worst year for me yet. Doesn't help when you only have 2 sunny days out of 15...... Too much rain and cloud cover..

I was looking back at my old pics and noticed this summer is just like our 2010 summer and then the end of July not a drop of rain for August and part of September and everything went from green to brown with the high temps. I just hope it is not the same I like all the green .lily is getting ready to reopen
