They look like grape hyacinth .I have some they are a bulb if that is the same as mine .Mine are long past there bloom already .

They are actually very small plants and are for the ground in the spring .Hyacinths for the pond are different .

What are the flowers in pic #1? Those are awesome for so early in the year.

As Sissy said, they're Grape Hyacinth, also known as Muscari. Very easy to grow in ground. They won't grow in a pond. They're the earliest flowering plant I have. The flowers get about 3", and the plants themselves are small, maybe get around 8" tall at the tallest flowers. I grow mine along the outside edge of my bog. The grassy leaves look really nice along a bog or pond in Spring.

Wow, that would be tough for me, I'm definitely not a cold weather gal. I bet when it's warm that it's beautiful though. Sending sunshine rays in your direction for sure.

Congatulations! Your hard work has paid off. If you haven't fertilized them yet, give them a bit and they'll keep pumping out the flowers all summer long. And if you've already fertilized I'm sure you've got a bunch more buds already on the way.
