Mine is really clear today, sun shining in it makes it look clearer. Saw a couple fish. water temp is 42°F, it was up to 46° after our 70° day.

Trying to get my pond defrosted. I turned on my aerator, high up in the water, about 1/4 is now sort of melted, BUT where ever it is not running is iced over and will ice over more for the next few days. They are now calling for 2 inches of snow on Friday, the first day of spring.

Hoping for no snow here but I did fire up the wood stove again. Ponds must be irish as they were both green for St. Paddys day! Maybe the cold will kill off the algae? Ya- right!

We are now at the edge of 4-6 inches, ponds frozen over again.................what water I can see has a nice green tinge to it. I can't fire up the pump, the bog is still ice. The water would need to pump through ice to get the pond going. Oh well it will melt eventually.......................

Maybe April. Snow is staying up north of us, sorry Addy. Ordered new bulbs for the UVs. Should be here tomorrow. I had hoped the bog would help but so far just getting greener.

I just ordered 18 watt uv bulbs from cll pets on ebay .Tammy got her uv and installed it so she is happy .
After our warm spell with temps in the 60's and 70's and one 80ish it's back to the 50's and clouds... at least it isn't snow I guess
