I would have it checked out and get it out of the tank if it is a egg it could be worth a LOT of money .I saw a bone that sold for 3 hundred thousand dollars and eggs you can look up online and it gives you info

Hubby says he thinks I found a dinosaur egg last week, while looking for rocks down by river. What do you think? I have the piece of shell that fits perfect over the top, right now it is in my fish tank and hubby wants me to get it out of tank....View attachment 78152

I agree with him GET IT OUT OF THE TANK! Who knows what its from but its super cool! I, of course, wouldn't even think about selling something as priceless as that.

I live in Southern Alberta and surrounded by old "Bad lands" that's what they call them. Found it down by river in pile of rocks that city left behind after excavation of river while building new bridge. Not sure what it is worth, may be common around here and only worth a few hundred, that is if it really is egg. Sure looks like an egg to me. Hubby says to get piece out of fish tank too.

I looked here online and they are collectors items and problem is collectors buy them up and they are never seen again .One sold for 55 thousand dollars .They did not say what it looked like .Some have petrified skeletons that you can see inside

Yeah, thats unfortunate. Things like that should go to local museums.

I have some of those eggs too JW. Here is a couple. One is broken and you can see the start of Small dinosaur. ... been collecting rocks by river for 25 years and you find lots of stuff.
