60 here today. One pond completely thawed and water at 48*. If this keeps up I will have to put my UV in as the water is green already! The 5' deep pond in partial shade still has a thin layer of Ice and a temp of 42*.

I keep my uv running 24/7 but then its very very rare that here in the UK we get the weather alot of you get and a pond completely covered by snow and ice so even in winter we do have some very sunny days so once the vu is off and the water starts to turn i have a up hill battle so 24/7 it is water depth a tad over 5 feet

Nice looking fish. I have not seen mine since we left at the end of October and the pond has been frozen over since we got back.

It's warm, dark and wet here in the Pacific Northwest. It seems to be spring already - the fish are actively feeding and the trout are spawning. Here's a female on her redd. Notice how she scoured away the gravel for a nest.
