Are you gong to start eating the water cress Capewind? I forgot to look for some yesterday after work, had to work a night shift till 9pm, so I was tired and went home to bed, will look today after work to see if they have some. I have been working the evening shift all week instead of the very early morning shift, and most stuff is picked over by nightfall. Next week I am working the morning shift at the bakery so I will look for nice fresh water cress in the produce section, to plant in my pond too! :)

They gave me a nice plaque to hang on the wall last night, for working "to death" back in September! I also got free tickets to the movie for two, that includes free popcorn too! I always work hard, I think it's the German side coming out of me! I like the evening shift, nobody gets in my way like the daytime, everybody tries to get in the freezer at once and the space is tight and cramped so it slows me down, I get more done at night, and the shelves get filled faster. I love my job and all my friends at the bakery too! Enough about work, work work, I got Sunday off and I got a new dress, going to get dressed up and have dinner at my moms with my hubby and other family.

I'm gonna grab some Water Cress from the ditches around here again. The last stuff I put in the pond didn't make it through the winter. Maybe I'll try sticking it nearer to the waterfall this time where the water is moving faster. I'll make sure it is a no cow/sheep area tho so I don't end up w/ that parasitic disease thingy in my pond.

Nope, I am not going to eat it LOL ... greens are not supposed to take like black pepper in my view ...

The store our son works for doesnt give out plaques or things like movie tickets ... The main perk he gets is hours LOL. Since transferring to meats, he gets about 50 hrs a week or so in the winter, and so far this spring ... none of the other departments get much over 30 hrs (over 30 hrs is overtime wages with the union contract, and Sundays are overtime too LOL), but since meats only has so many employees, it is what it is ... the store manager will complain to the department head, cut his hours, and then the store manager has to call him in, so right back to the 50 hrs ... then for being so reliable gives him store grocery cards (like a credit card, but only good in store) ... He ends up with another $10-15 per week in these cards. Of course it is this same manager (the whole store), who put our son in for the cutting training, even tho no one even remembers when the last time someone was trained in house LOL.

Enjoy your day off tomorrow, getting dolled up, and dinner out:)

Yes she does share. I got a nice box of goodies yesterday. Still have to put the lilies in pots. Going to Menards today to get some pond baskets and some fertilizer. I just wish we would get some warm weather to stay.
I want warm weather to stay too ... Yesterday we had awful rains in the afternoon. My box didnt come in the morning mail, so I went down to the post office and told them to expect it, and to call me when the second delivery came it ... they called just before 2 pm ... hubby just dealt with it all on the kitchen floor ... planted the lilies in normal 2 gallon nursery pots that you get when buying plants for the yard ... filled the pots with kitty litter, then threw them out on the patio so they wouldnt dry out ... in between the down pours, he moved them to the pond and added some gravel on top to keep the litter in ... hubby wont give them fertilizer (spikes) til they get close to bloom time ... between now and then, just whatever nutrients they can suck out of the pond ...

You go hard Capewind, I got to get moving on my lillys too. Got to get it done soon, will be the first time in 20 years that I transplant the yellow flowered water lillys. There is so many shoots they are falling out of the pot and growning in the rocks! I need to get some blooms this year so transplanting should help.

Been working on the front yard yesterday, but progress is slow, ice still in the shady areas but at least I got most of the water out of the little front yard pond. I want to make a stream this year out front that runs to that little 100 gallon pond. I need ti get more rocks, working on that too, the rocks are starting to follow me home from the park again .... :)

CE I have Firefox and I go up to the tools tab on top and click clear history and a box pops up and I pick the everything title in the drop down box and then usually just check the boxes marked cookies and cache and then click clear now. If you have IE then its prolly pretty much the same. I don't know if this will fix your problems but it did mine. Good luck otherwise maybe ask Ian or Becky for help.
I had to dump my cache, all sort of issues with gpf after the upgrade. it starts your computer as fresh, forgets the saved info.

OK, let's try this again! I finally have been "allowed" to stay on my computer long enough to read your info about clearing my cache, etc. JW, and did that, and now pics have loaded! Here are a few of my sister, her koi pond, and her tattoo on her left thigh (above where her partial knee replacement surgery was) and also a pic of the 2 koi on her leg - black one is Fred Flinstone and the yellow one is Goldilocks.

Sister has been VERY demanding up until this morning. I'm amazed that she went from almost begging for pain meds before the 4 hour time space, to now not having taken any since 2:30 a.m. (or so she says, although when I counted the pills, 3 are missing, so assume she took them around 6:30 a.m.) Either way, she has not had any since she got up around 7 that I am aware of, and it's now almost 1 p.m.!
This pic was taken yesterday morning. I arrived about 6 p.m. on Sat., the day she got home from the hospital, her hubby was here (long story ... again, demanding sister ...) and she looked AWFUL, as could be expected after surgery. This pic was taken before she "hit the wall" with her pain. :)

She has some beautiful roses blooming in her yard. These are just a couple of the prettier ones that I adore!

Not sure what this flower is, maybe Addy would know.

And, if I thought these would grow in IL (probably would in the summer anyhow) I would take some home with me! Top of the plant is covered with these really striking star flowers. They are about 1" in diameter (each flower).

What a beauty of a tattoo! I think I'd rather have it in a picture frame tho but that's just me,lol! Your sis has a nice big pond and oh those roses are so pretty and bet they smell wonderful! Don't know what those other flowering plants are but I've seen the blue one here before. Glad you are now able to post your pix. Hope your sis gets better fast and looks like she's doing quite well considering her ordeal :kruecken:
