Nooooo Sissy!!! I may be onto something. You know, create a flashlight and call it a "night fishing light" for ponders. LOL "Catch your fish easily with this 'night fishing light', only $59.99".   Think of it, isn't that how they sell so many things for our ponds? Put the word "pond" in the label, and charge 5 times what the same item would cost if it was just that item! Just kidding of course, I would never charge people a ton for something so simple. I'm just thrilled it actually worked. Now, give it a try in the summer, when the fish are quicker and the lilies are everywhere, might be a totally different story! However, when I was scuba diving at night once, a friendly Tarpin followed night divers, as when they would light up fish to see them, the tarpin would swoosh by and grab them, since they never saw him coming. So, there must be something to it. Kind of like frog gigging with a flashlight, the frogs are blinded, never see you coming.

I'm going to separate my water lilies, and have done my best to mark which pot is what color. If anyone else besides BrandonsDad and Cheesy Fellow want some, please PM me. I can't remember if anyone else said they would like them but never PMd me, but that's my way of remembering. I charge only what the postage is to send them. The lilies are free. I also have Water Parsley/Celery that is green/pink/white varigated, if anyone wants any of that for your bog areas. It does spread pretty fast, but is low growing and very pretty, good for with other taller plants. Water clover has not come back yet. Penny Wart is just starting to hit the surface, so have some of them to send as tiny babies, but they are very hardy, too. I will be sending plants Priority mail either tomorrow or Wed., depending on when I get them separated and ready to ship.

I went ahead and did an ad in Classifieds, for two weeks from now. I will give my "regular" friends first dibs, and see if anyone locally is interested in extras as well. I have so much, I can't imagine getting rid of all the extras and not having enough for everyone! The best part is they multiply so fast, it's a yearly free for all give-away.

Hmm ... I was going to post pics of what lilies look like when you put one tuber in a pot and wait a year, but pics won't download tonight. Guess I'll see if they work in the a.m. All I know is I had a bunch of tubers from just 4 pots of lilies. I have about 8 more pots to separate and repot, so that means a ton more tubers to give away. I've already got a few more people wanting them, but there will be plenty. I posted an ad in Classifieds so if you're interested, you need to PM me so I don't forget. Will be pulling more pots in 2 weeks or so. Also have cattails, and by then should have good supply of water parsley/celery and penny wart. I just ask that you pay my cost of postage. I'm thrilled to share.

I think Capewind posted about water cress sprigs that she got from the grocery department and it grew real nice in her water garden. I think I am going to try that and see what happens. Was thinking that between your water parsley and celery, you could have a vegetable water garden!! I have never tried or seen water parsley or celery or water cress growning in a water garden, but can you eat the parsley and celery in your water garden?

I think the stuff that is sold for water gardens is probably ornamental, but not sure, Colleen! I can send you some and you can try it. LOL
If I'm able to upload photos, I'll show you what I dug up and shipped yesterday. But, once again, photos will not upload for me. Wondering if I have posted too many photos on this forum, and no more are allowed? Anyone know? They upload really fast, then show "this upload failed". Maybe I'll PM Larkin, see if he knows ... I resized them like I always do, so I know the sizes are not too large. Darn ... Oh well, the people that got some lilies and other plants will just have to be surprised with their packages. :blueflower:

Did you clear your history after Ian did the upgrade thingy yesterday or the day before? Try that as it helped when I couldn't get my posts to post.

Finally went to the store yesterday to get more and was soooo disappointed. They had ONE bag, and they were so badly wilted, I didnt bother buying it... I can start more off of what is already growing, but wanted to get a whole new batch to start several plants ...

CE I have Firefox and I go up to the tools tab on top and click clear history and a box pops up and I pick the everything title in the drop down box and then usually just check the boxes marked cookies and cache and then click clear now. If you have IE then its prolly pretty much the same. I don't know if this will fix your problems but it did mine. Good luck otherwise maybe ask Ian or Becky for help.
