Wrap in newspaper and wet it down, Then place in a plastic bag and ship in a box with dry newspaper. This will keep it from drying out and from getting all beat up. I have found that if you take it and package them up in the afternoon and get them to the post office about a hour before they close they start on there way when the temp is coller and they don't sit in the hot loading dock all day.
