What's wrong with Windows 10?
At the risk of receiving an Inbox full of abuse, I upgraded months ago and haven't ever had an issue. It's much faster to load than either W7 or 8/8.1.
It's never crashed, printer, scanner, webcams all work perfectly well with it. OK, it looks slightly different, and does a few management things slightly differently, but it just works.
I use W7 on my PC at work, I use W10 at home - prefer W10.
At which point I'll stop and get my hard hat and flak jacket....................:nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting:

What I didn't like about win 10 is that even though it's upgrade process tells you that your computer is ready for the upgrade, as it turns out, a motherboard on one of my computers is not actually listed as being compatible with the OS, so I had a bunch of random errors. Also, my perfectly good laser printer is not discoverable by win 10. So that computer went back to win 7. I also don't like that you have to opt out of a whole bunch of settings that allows win 10 to collect and distribute information and updates without your permission.

If you're on a metered internet connection, make sure you have the option tuned off that allows other people's computers to update via your computer.

Holy cow, glad I read about all your issues with upgrading to Windows 10! I have a 6 year old laptop that works just fine. I keep seeing warning that one of the operating systems is no longer being updated, so guessing I have Windows 7, or maybe an even older version! Oh, wait, I have the sticker still on my laptop. LOL I have Vista. Older than 7, I'd guess! No wonder no more updates. I guess I'm setting myself up for problems with hackers, huh? I'm not very computer savy, know how to use them, just don't really understand them. Kind of like a camera. I like to push the button and get nice pictures, but I have no idea how it REALLY works! Heaven forbid I have to change the settings manually! Need to have my son or my daughter or my brother TRY to instruct me on that, since I got a new camera. Ugh!!! I'm learning how to make it work in the "auto" mode. :)

Nope, they are VERY patient with me, actually. So is my brother. My problem is that it feels impossible for my brain to absorb and understand the reasons so I feel it's all for nothing. LOL My stand by camera (I've had 3 of the same model) finally did with the other 2 did, and crapped out, the zoom zoomed and didn't unzoom. :) So, I took my son's advise and got a different model/brand. I like it just fine, just have to learn more aspects of it. I loved my super macro mode on old camera. This one has 3x the zoom capabilities as the old one, so that's awesome, but seems I have to be farther away to get the great macro picture, then have to crop it. But, that works, too.

Good for you! My daughter works in the computer field and has no time for people who don't 'get it'. The thanks we get for sending her to school right? I have tremendous patience teaching my wife programs and features but have given up on my parents and technology. My father is so terrified of getting hacked or a virus that his computer time isn't very much fun. I've nearly quit sending him emails because he'll never open any pictures or links. Might get a virus you know! He's obsessed with why people are sending him spam emails, who cares, as long as they go to the spam folder. He likes to make DVD's from pics he's taken but nearly always has a hard time making them, I bought him a DVD burner that you plug the camera into and burn right off the camera! He can't/won't figure it out so the struggle continues.

I turned her off! I already have my sweety telling me what to do and Maggie in the truck telling me where to go, so I really don't NEED another woman in my life. :D

I like her to a certain point because I can just tell her what I want to do or go on the puter and I can get things done faster than typing everything

Cortana the spy is banned on my pc!
I shut contana down the day I loaded win10.

My dad would unplug the computer, the key board, the mouse, so nobody could hack it. Then he could not figure out how to put it back together. I talked him though it many times. Even labeled everything and wrote out step by step instructions.
Emails just didn't work with him, he too would not open them.

The only thing on his computer was pictures he took but he was afraid someone would see them and then find out where he lived. His mind was very sharp until the end, but he had some issues lol

I was all apple way back, then my job people decided I should run the department's new computer system. Which was dos windows based. Since I had to dial in and check it I had to convert to windows. To lazy and to cheap to convert back to apple.
