Well, I got a highly critical assessment of my pond a couple of days ago. I was hard at work, replacing a door on the north side of the house which had never sealed properly, when something flew over my head while emitting a raucous call that can only be described as a small pebble in a tin can, and perched on a hydro line, all the while hurling derogatory remarks about my pond decor! A Kingfisher, North America's answer to the Kookaburra, apparently wasn't too impressed with the gazebo and net that prevented him from snatching a meal. :smug: HARO - 1, fish thief - 0! (y)

As an extreme IT nut and building PCs for 15 years anyone with family they are tech support for should really get "teamviewer". It allows you to take over your relatives' computer for free and actually fix it in 5 minutes instead of describing it for 2 hours and they still get it wrong :)

I work for the State, Tex, and we have that on our computers. It allows the tech support teams to go right onto our computers to fix, install, see what we are talking about. Sometimes they have asked me to "do what you normally do, and let me see how it's causing problems". That's always fun, to see their comments on the text screen. "Good grief, I've never seen that happen before. Let me mess with it a while, see if I can figure it out." I do NOT feel privileged when I see those comments, as it usually means they will be taking over my computer for a long while. But, it sure helps, as they can mess and I can do other work. Love it!

Teamviewer is great, it saved me a number of journeys over because "my printer's only producing black & white".
I also really like their business model - free for individual users, but corporate clients pay for multi-user licences.
