Guessing you will be coming home a little early????

Nah we are going to ride out the storm. We are not right on the shore, maybe 10 miles. The owners told us if it gets real wild head to their store a very well built building. We are not too concerned. We thought about skipping this trip, but decided what the heck go for it!
I just installed a weather station, 79 bucks at Costco, so we can watch the wind speed, rain fall etc!
I love storms!

We will head over, if safe, to the inlet at ocean city and watch the wave action.

According to NOAA we have tropical storm conditions until Tuesday, starting tomorrow.

So I was out riding yesterday when I came across a motorist looking at his flat tire. At first I kept going, then realized I'd not sleep that night if I didn't return to assist him. Stopped and asked if I could help ad he said certainly, I need a wrench to free the spare, at which point I produced my wrench and told him to start the stopwatch. 15mins. later we shook hands and went about our day. I had such a wonderful feeling from offering free assistance to a random stranger, it was awesome. Not more than an hour later, came across a stranded motorist and someone trying to help jump her battery in the middle of the road, the helper said he wasn't sure about the connections at which point I took over and explained why the black should ALWAYS be grounded to the frame to avoid a spark near the battery and causing an explosion. Now I'm feeling positively superior and think I deserve to. Then I started riding aggressively, cuz it's fun, figured I'd tell the cops my story and they'd be like.. Yes sir, you may ride anyway you choose today!

My week has been crushing and inspiring. Earlier this week about 4 raccoons got i to my little 30 gallon pond and completely destroyed it. All goldfish and snails eaten, brand new Arum overturned and dirt in the bottom of the pond, rocks turned over into the pond...in short, a complete mess. I was ready to close the pond down for the winter and start fresh in the spring.
In the meantime, my hubby mentioned to the neighbor (who he works with) about the issue with the raccoons because she was also having trouble with them digging up her yard. A couple days later, she comes by with two little koi for me (my pond way too small to keep them...I will find them a new home in the spring).
But it was so sweet and so I worked hard all Saturday to set my pond right again for these lovely little fish. All in all, a better week then a bad one in the end.

I brought home some 1 week old vietnamese telescope fry (bred by Matt Lyon) from a goldfish breeder social event. Parents are kirin color. They're about a month old now. This is my first time raising fry -- I am having so much fun with them! I started with 32, have culled down to 27 now.

Below is a pic of their parents, and of them about a week ago. They're ~ 1 inch long. I can't wait for them to color up!
