They were 2 and 3 dollar mutts from a koi farm .He sells what he calls ugly ones for 1 dollar up to 5 dollars .I don't buy expensive fish .The original fish are around 10 years old and I do not give them growth food because I don't want them to get to big .I only feed them 3 or 4 times a week .I have butterfly and fancy tails that I paid a dollar for

Through the warm summer months i feed my koi 3 times a day i even weigh the food out god thinking about it it sounds a bit sad that but hay thats me im even thinking about getting a auto feeder for when im work through the day, wish i could buy fish for around a dollar, where i live your lucky to buy a ugly koi for £25 sterling the avarage price for a nice koi is ant where from £60 upwards, even tho you bought them as (ugly fish) id have them in my pond any time sorry for being very British, but for some reason butterfly or long fin koi are in certain circles are found up on dont know why just a BKKS thing my wife loves them, just hard to find nice ones over here as they are not very popular, the wife says its stupid i like them and thats all that matters,

I don't want water quality issues and that is more important and there is plenty for them to clean up in the pond .I have given lots of babies away and almost all of them are long tailed .I gave one guy 15 babies to start his pond in trade for lotus plants that he found were intrusive and every fish I gave him all now have long flowing tails and he said every body who see's them thinks he paid a fortune for them .They are a lot with an orange dot on there headhttp://youtu.be/ZKa2fFt-8s0 sorry you tube connection is not working

The biggest egg requires further expert examination to determine what is inside. expert said it looks like egg. ... it could be worth the most.

The smaller egg in my hand is for sure an egg, and you can see baby inside.

May have to make trip to Drumheller in future. ...

Your are too kind JW! I will be VERY happy to see them all burn alive!!!
Personally Colleen as a former serviceman in Her Majesties Armed forces (what little we have left) we were trained and served to stop the threat of a nuclear holocost.
There is only one way to treat monsters like these "NUKE EM OUT OF EXISTANCE", we need to stop pussy footing with them becase if they ever get the bomb they may just choose use it on us.
ISIS is the most dangerous thing ever to have hit this planet, , in the name of religous extremeizm just look at their barbaric treatment of other, they know the west is tired after or involvemnt with the Taliban, ISIS knows that fear is what frightens people the most .
Wheres god in all this ????

love the film sissy. That is the big problem over here in England, you either keep pond fish or Koi, the Koi keepers have the mind set that any other fish in your Koi pond is a waste of food and space in your pond, I have many fan tail gold fish, grass carp black sturgeon and a 12 inch albino sturgeon the gold fish are what we had in in first pond which the wife loves and there is no way im going to remove good healthy fish they are what started my love of ponds i like a good mixture of fish but im affraid not every one over here thinks the same bit of a shame really, not every one have a blank cheque book well done you and every body who hand built there own ponds with what they had at hand and what they can afford these people are true pond lovers!!!!

I had a budget even for my first pond .This one I am into for about 800 dollars to rebuild it .The first one only cost me 200 dollars .But really I did not spend 800 dollars because one sister made my aerator a gift and second sister made my one pump a gift and my son paid for the other pump .The liner i paid for and a lot of the blocks were bought from a guy who had bought to many .The rocks were all free and the banana plants were in trade for me installing a lady's bathroom sink .The hole I dug out by hand the first time and then this time i built it bigger .I sold baskets that I made for for 40 dollars and the cost to build them was only about 8 dollars .Then I just built one of these and sold them for 200 dollars just last week .Last pic is my log tractor with out the cart .I am trying to get my money back

Sissy you sound a lot like my way of thinking, my pond excluding the filtration system,(which i daren't add up, or tell the wife lol) cost around £900 but i did have a mate come round with his digger. all the brick work i did my self the bottom drain and pipe work was very expensive but having living with it i wouldnt now build a pond without one, sa all the fish poo, food waste and every thing else that ends up on the pond bottom is sucked out and into the vortex filter, iv just been to my favourite koi out let and my mind started to wander about your idea of the use of a big old pot on the side of the pond as a water feature some pics from the koi shop i want to buy them all
