Well finally the new machines are here! No problem getting them hooked up in the tight space. I will be doing a lot of reading as these have so many more extras. Will also need a ladder to program the dryer!

do you keep a stool out there to reach the buttons .I have asked the manufactures before about why the top unit does not come with the buttons on the bottom for stackable units .It would be so much easier for short people .I would love the cranberry red ones they have now .I saw on pinterest where they put stripes and polka dots on them

Yes Sissy- I will have to have a step stool to set the dryer controls. I don't understand why they call these stackable and yet the controls on the dryer are out of reach for most people!. Would loved to have the blue ones but and extra $500. just isn't worth it. I've read thru both manuals and will get started getting caught up on laundry today.

baby steps here, we have a fridge, no stove yet, no hot water yet, no kitchen sink yet, no counters yet............... We need the stove for the granite cutters, so on hold. They say it is on its way. We do have all the cabinets installed.

Computer Dave PC Repair

SCAM: “Microsoft” called our shop yesterday to inform us that our computer had a virus. Since we know Microsoft does not contact people like you and I on the phone, I seized the opportunity to over-react and told the criminal on the phone that we were shutting down all 23 computers immediately, including the server, and taking refuge in our “Safe Room” with rations until instructed to come out. He did not find that humorous.

We get calls from them all the time. I keep telling them we don't own a computer.

No video that I know of but there is a phone app to diagnose problems as well as checking on your laundry when you are out!
Found out the hard way that the newer machines take way less detergent. I use only HE but did a load of towels this morning (2nd load) and used the usual amount of detergent. I heard a loud beeping- water alarm letting me know I had a floor full of foam! I still had the mop and rags in case they spilled water installing so no problem. I use water alarms everywhere!

do what my son did because the poor guy hung up and has not called back again .I hate those calls they always come when you are super busy with something .Detergent costs more but you use a heck of a lot less plus I think the clothes come out cleaner since they are not soaking in there own dirty water .Plus when you have a well and septic tank you really have to think twice .I have valves on my tubs and showers where I turn them and the water from them goes out into my lawn instead of in my septic tank .Funny thing was when I spoke to the plumber about it he told me that is the way they used to do it before people got lazy .So he was amazed I knew about it .My dad had our farm set up that way ,it would water some of the gardens down front of the house .You just have to remember to turn the valves on and off in colder weather or if snow is on the lawn

In my old pond i had tadpoles every year but none ever made it, Take it the koi enjoyed them too much, i never ever saw the koi eating them but they were the only fish in the pond so i drew my own conclusion after the excitement with the bull frog and the small koi last year i have buit the new pond frog proof, (Or at least i think i have only time will tell)

My one koi eats frogs and I get the pleasure of netting what is left of the frogs out of the pond .She just sucks there insides out of them and spits the rest out .No fun to go out and pull any where from 5 to 10 of them out every morning

Been doing that for around 5 to 6 years now and she and her buddy are just over 2 ft long and we have lots of frogs since there are several creeks around my house .They are not small frogs but not big either and guessing they do not swim fast enough to get away ,aggie and bert in last pic. That one frog is in a 5 gallon bucket
