Better to order it and save that much money. You can wait.....what choice do you have?
Colleen, my Maytag washer and dryer are the same models I had when I was married, and those were bought in 1983! So, over 30 years old. This house is 35 years old, so I figure they were bought new when the house was built. I had the washer fixed, thinking I spent right at about $200 on it. But, from what I hear about new ones, they cost well over a thousand, and people are saying they are replacing them in 5-7 years! Yikes, I'll stay with my old set. The dryer does a fantastic job, no wrinkles on permanent press setting, and washer does great job, too. I wash dog beds in it and quilts, etc. It's not huge, but it's big enough!Did I mention my dryer is like 15 ot 20 years old I think... so is the washing machine! Dryer never breaks down and washing machine does and then hubby fixes it aND somehow keeps it running. Not like we could not afford a new one, but hubby refuses to get new one cause I swear he likes to tinker with old one! Ha ha ha!
I have the whirlpool duet, bought around 2002 or so and hauled across country, still working great. Love the front load, heI love my front loaders they are whirlpool and work great and now 10 years old
