really nice those hyacinths gona have to get some myself next year.

It took them awhile to get going but once they did, they have been growing great. Our pond went from 74 yesterday to 61 today. These are october temperatures, most likely we will bounce back up.

Here we are supposed to get up to the high 80's all next week and glad I finished spreading the stone and the hill is done now all I have to do is put a board and rebar up behind the cut dow tree and then spread mulch across the top .

well thats done now a fence to build and mulch to pick up

and thats the last load for this year not doing anymore ,took me 3 days to get this done

Good job sissy. My back is aching just looking at it all! It's chilly here now and a nice cuppa sounds good to me too! Not going to start a fire in the wood stove yet tho......................not gonna do it!

wow sissy you shifted all those rocks !! you work harder than most people here in uk,

yep and some of them I had to sort of roll in place they were so big and I had my fireplace going as poor little pee wee was cold .My little red lawn mower and cart had a big workout too as some of the rock that was left I moved to other places .Now I just have to finish and next year is next year .Once the mulch is at the top thats enough and great that I can just drive the truck over to the area and just throw the mulch down .I took breaks doing it but got it done thanks to the cooler temps we got the last couple of days .In 2 weeks I had up to New Jersey to Little Egg Harbor to visit friends and then off to Atlantic City since Showboat Casino has rooms for me free for 4 days .Poor John and Nadine will have to put up with me for a day or 2 >My son will be taking pee wee and king arthur and dog sit or in this case dog put up with .Problem is he spoils them worse than me .

yes ime making arrangements now for my cat and the fish as i am flying to slovakia on wednesday ! going to visit the inlaws, staying for 16 days

Seems like lots of us are heading out for a bit of a vacation here lately. Hope you all have a nice time and safe travel.
We are going on our first trip to Hawaii in Oct. w/ relatives. Going to Waikiki area cuz hubby's sis has a resort condo there. Guess there are lots of things to see and do there, hoping anyways. If we had our choice we'd go somewhere more secluded but for now this will be fine. If anyone has any suggestions on what to see there please feel free to chime in!
