well got e-mail from labcorp this morning and hemoglobin is up to 11.1 but several others are still very low and hemoglobin should be 13 or higher but we are getting there .His mcv ,mch,hchc and hematocrit tests were all low and his rdw was way to high .I am getting somewhat used to all this blood work stuff but still have to look some of it up .I actually bought a book from the lab to explain a lot of things in all samples taken and what to look at and how to understand it all .Good gosh now I can really understand what nurses go through everyday also .Sorry I have not been on much but been really busy catching up on all the work here .Yard was neglected and so was the house .Had to pack up baseball cards as a guy from Ohio bought a bunch of the high dollar ones .He had them picked up by a special insured carrier .Seems it has been non stop lately .I do want to catch a pick of the white buck yet that keeps visiting my garden .Every time I see him I don't have my camera .Did catch him on security camera a little ,well his back end .

Sad news today. My favorite local store, Ace Hardware, is closing December 29. This Ace is as large as a medium size grocery market yet a place where true customer service was the norm. Everyone there is like family. Has been for 20 years. The store Asst. Mgr. and friend Dale told us they were told the store was not making enough money plus there are two Walmarts, a Homedepot and Lowes within a few miles. All inventory is 25% off with some items 50%. We went to buy four light bulbs. We came home with $203 of merchandise. The store folks appreciated our support today. Lots of hugs while at the store. Corporations do not care about the bond between their right size stores and the faithful customer base. Sad news today.

I love ace and true value and all the smaller stores because you can ask for something and they know what you are talking about .Bigger things of course you have to go to lowes or home depot .Just like appliance stores have all been lost .I used to love Topps appliance they had lots to choose from .In NJ we had Rickles hardware .I divided up my big clumps of cannas and got 37 clumps from them and made a canna garden with elephant ears on the edges surrounding the back of my roses .Dark leaves and green leaves and several colors of flowers .Next is mulch if I can find any ,I have tried 3 mulch places and they have none .Where is the mulch fairy ..I printed out all my hubbies lab work to take it to the doctor with me next week and got copies of everything from both hospitals ,prepared so he does not say I will have to wait for all the lab results and hospital tests .Time for coffee .
