Nice graphic, Koiguy. One of our mods (curiously, your "friend") shut down a thread I posted a political opinion on. Maybe it wasn't my post that prompted it - some folks were getting rather nasty. Regardless, I truly applaud your honest assessment of relevant issues.

Do you have shutters on any of your windows? If so, what style, material and size. Do you like your shutters?

Four of our front windows are 44"x72" which equates to each custom made shutter being 22"x72". The fifth window has an arched top. Prices so far are very high.

I had them in arizona, they do look nice, always need dusting. They were 3 inch shutters, no clue on style. Material oak looking. You need to leave room i.e. with furniture to be able to open them.

My dad was one of those men. His idea was if he kept giving it more gas, he would eventually get unstuck. As an example, he once called me from "the farm" to come help him. He had taken his old Massey Ferguson tractor and bush hog to mow around the edge of the pond, got too close, got stuck. So, he goes and gets his 4WD truck to pull out the tractor, got the truck buried past the axles. THEN he went to get his baby bulldozer. Took over an hour just to get it running and warmed up. I was to drive the truck while he pulled it out. I thought, "What? how much driving can I possibly do when it's buried???" Yes, that's a man, or at least the men in my life!
Other man story was my former husband, drunk, drove his Cobra Mustang off into the ditch, Christmas Eve, icy roads. "You get in and drive, and I'll push you out." Come on, the ditch is deeper than the car is tall, no WAY are you going to push this sucker out! Hmm ... the city dump truck salting the highway came by, friend, pulled him out.
I think women are more likely to not try hard enough to get unstuck, although I've gotten my tractor with loader stuck twice, and both times I figure out how to get it dug out.... by myself. :blueflower:

Oh, that makes sense to our USA, doesn't it? I'm very glad for your husband, though, Addy, and everyone else that was forced to take time off. Shows the government didn't save ANY money during this shut down at all. So, who wins there??? Yep, the employees! Of course, the politicians never lost any money either, so why would they be in a hurry to get things back up and running?
I just can't wait until next election, get a new president, see if anything changes, or if our Country remains the way it is now. So easy for us on the outside to criticize what politicians do on the inside. I, for one, would never want to be on the inside. Your whole life gets scrutinized the whole time, and what you said 4 years ago comes back to bite you in the butt over and over again. Obama has been bit in the butt so many times, you would think he would need a butt replacement!
