And..... you can smoke pot and go on to be very very successful and serve as President of the United States!! You can also smoke Pot and go on to become Prime Minister Trudeau!

I might also add that I have never been unemployed since I was sixteen years old. I have worked my whole life and never collected unemployment, never done any hard drugs, and am a very productive member of society. I also rarely ever drink, maybe I have one glass of wine a week. I also am on zero pharmaceuticals, just don't need that really bad stuff, and way way too many people have been "dummyed down" by pharmaceuticals, maybe that was the big plan all along ...... come on people, wake up, and smell the coffee!

Just look at all the coffee addicts, must be really bad, you should see the lineups at Tim Hortons! They should make coffee illegal! Just look at all the coffee addicts, they are pushing and shoving their way through the line get the cup of tim Hortons coffee! Don't even deny it Event Horizon, you live in Canada, you must have seen the "Timmy Addicts! ha Ha Ha Ha!!!

Kinda makes you wonder what they are putting in that Timmy’s eh?

A little side note, Tim Horton lived across the street from me when I was kid, until he died. It is a rather sad story, as the chain was sold off by the family before it became the empire it is now.

capewind..actually sativa strains can energize you.. its the indica strains that are sedative in nature
Hmmm... all I know is the basic smell gives me a headache still. I've been called a non smoking pot snob ... The headaches are not as bad with hydro (even if I dont smoke, I often have to walk away from people smoking it), but I couldnt tell you one strain from another. I'm a good girl now. Rarely even drink, although my son did get me hooked on a Dunkin Donuts Tropicana Coolada, with a shot (or 4) of Parrot Bay added ...

LOU.. read the thread, google pheonixtears. rick simpson. go to you tube and watch the testimonials ..the evidence is mounding up. you just choose to believe the mainstream medicines bullcrap. big pharma doesnt make money curing... they make money treating... making long term customers...cancer and diabetes are the 2 biggest profit making conditions in the world. they cant make money on meds you can produce yourself... YES THEYVE BEEN HIDING IT IN THE NAME OF PROFITS! go to facebook and go to the Rick simpson home page... hours of testimonials to read.
do this with an open mind and if you cant or wont believe it. its up to you.

Now I am forced to jump into this conversation! Your assertion that pot "....cured their cancers. cured diabetes, stopped seizures including grand mal seizures...going from several everyday to not having one in months or years.." is outlandish bullshit! As a person with Eplipecy my meds keep my seizures well under control. My mother, sister, brother and two aunts have died from cancer. How dare you claim pot is the cure for cancer! I am both insulted and infuriated. Don't you think that if pot was such a medicinal miracle the entire worlds medical community would be curing EVERYONE!

Sir, you have just lost all credibility.
Lou, I hope you know from our private conversations that I think highly of you, so please dont take my response to be arguementative. Given your health, and what you have seen family members go through, I know this could be infuriating, and I am sorry to add to your frustration, but there IS a lot of documented cases where weed HAS been proven to be a cure when modern medicines have failed. It is all about profits. If I could stomach the stench, I would smoke weed FOR CANCER. I am NOT saying I have cancer, or atleast NOT YET. My next test is scheduled for the 19th of this month. Specifically, a colposcopy. I already have "atypical grandular cells" at my cervix. Best case, I wont develop cervical cancer for several years yet. Worst case, I will be told I have cervical cancer now. The only solid information I have right now is my pelvic ultra sound showed my other organs to be clear, OTHER than cysts on my ovaries on one side, which is fairly normal at my age. The point of the test on the 19th is to find out the extent of the atypical cells. I for one am grateful the medical use passed in my state this last election. There is TOO MUCH PROOF that weed DOES work, and it is NOT being utilized. I live in one of the most liberal states in the country, and if it was passed here, that alone says a lot!

I havent done a lot of reseach on the different methods weed can be used (pill, oil, smoke, some tent looking thing, etc) but the bottom line is I am not worried about the threat of cancer. Between the pelvic ultra sound and a uterine biopsy (also clear), I know at this point, IF it is cancer, and not "just" precancer cells, threatment options for what I MAY be lookiing at are extremely successful. It is a shame so many people have been brainwashed to believe weed is this evil wart on society.

This is a completely different topic from how I interpreted your first post on this Koyguy.

I know it is used up here for medicinal use, I am not sure if one can go into a shop type atmosphere to get it like that video showed, but I know it’s used. If it is a problem for people to get it for legit illnesses where it is proven to help, then yeah they need to make some changes down there.

sorry.. i couldve been more specific in my first post... but i did post my interest is medicinal and nutritional ..and i have no recreational interest. not since high school. attend one conference on the matter. talk to patients using the meds. like CBDs only medicine.. no buzz at all. in fact CBDs counteract the pschotropic effects of THCs. educate yourselves. now lets move this to the appropriate thread.

I am so sorry to learn of your situation Capewind. Let us hope for the best.

Koiguy, I hold no ill will toward you. Everyone is entitled to their thoughts and beliefs. It is very true that medical and theraputic treatment is very personal to me. I have been witness to an excess amount of pain, suffering and death in my nearly 60 years on this earth. Mine is not an isolated nor unique situation. Each time I begin feeling sorry for myself our Lord opens my eyes to many who truly suffer. Many without a glimmer of hope.

With all sincerity I will say that anything that validly aids in or is the cure for disease is a Godsend. I have almost died due to misdiagnosis and wrongfully prescribed medications. Important side notes. My elder brother recently battled cancer and for now at least has won. Just one week ago I learned that a female cousin has breast cancer. As if that were not enought, this very morning my dear sweet sister-in-law, widow of my brother who died from cancer, called and told me she has skin cancer. Thankfully, her prognosis is good.

Carry on my friends, carry on.

Thank you Lou. I believe a positive attitude is everything. I was a wreck a few weeks ago waiting for the uterine biopsy and pelvic ultra sound results, as the papsmeer results (the atypical grandular cells) came back first. Hubby was asking me if I was REALLY okay (emotionally). He was thinking I was playing it down. Nope, just a realist and stick to the facts. It may be a blessing in disquise. I wanted all that plumbing removed years ago. First it was I was too young, and more recent, it was I was getting closer to menopause ... We already know my other organs are fine, so at worst, anything "offensive" can be removed. Then I can stop fighting with the doctors about their absurd opinions of how much oxicodone they THINK I need for pain management (different female issues). If I took the meds they wanted me to, I would likely be in liver failure by now LOL. Now their bright idea of putting me on damn hormones, I am not so positive of. Changed the damn med, and I hate it LOL. This PREmenopause crap is for the birds... I want to tell the doc HE can take it LOL. Just take all the plumbing, give me a calcium replacement, and they can keep the hormones and pain meds ... Sounds simple to me.

Really sorry with all the family health issues you have been going through too. Three years ago, my husbands aunt (then 78 yrs old) was DX'd with stage 4 breast cancer. Doctors literally told her she had a 10% chance of living another year, and told her treatments were "optional" ... it really came across as them giving up on her, and told her to get her affairs in order... Well, she went with that "optional" treatment, and is still with us. She hasnt slowed down one bit either!

Capewind I hope you stay healthy, but at least you are on top of things and getting checked regular. We all have to face illness at one point or another, soon or later, but after the big recent ordeal with my hubby's cancer, I had seen him look like death was coming.... and now sometimes I have to pinch myself cause I must be dreaming, as he has come such a very long way and does he ever look good now! I do believe in miracles now and if I ever have to face cancer myself I know I can be brave because it can be fought and won!

Pictures tell a gruesome story, but after everything he went through, at least we got our happy ending. I must get a better updated picture, because now he is improving so darn much and the other day he shaved all the grey beard off and new facial hair is comming in dark again, grey has gone, new growth after the radiation is can be surprising! We are so very lucky!
