It is the iron in the spinach I just eat to much spinach but I love it .Since it is not cooked it has lots of iron and times that by 2 or 3 salads a day .I love my salad :luxlove: I have always hated shopping unless it is in a hardware store or garden center .We had lots of big malls in NJ and only ever shopped in one of them 3 times and hated it .Now if it was a big huge flea market I could spend hours and visit Englishtown Flea Market every time i go to NJ .My sons get money and buy what they want .

yep and I told him I have to have it at least once a day it is my fix to calm me down .He said to have red wine as it will cut the effects of it and fine with that .Drunk happy salad nut here

not sure but mine only showed up in the last year or so everything else was normal and no arthritis at all .Parents did have heart problems but lived to be in there 70's before there lives were cut short .No diabetes and no high blood pressure and cholesterol was normal ,good and bad .Eye doctor could not believe my eyesight was pretty near normal .Just decided to give me glasses for the slight problem there was .Ekg was good enzyme levels normal ,thyroid ok .Not sure all the tests they did and poor guy could not understand how anyone could be a vegetarian and I am his first .I remember he did say some vegetables are not as digestable ,he said he will have to read up more and consult with a dietician . Oh well live and learn DOC we are out there .I think he said he did not have 2 tests back and said he did not expect anything to show up on them out of normal .Hey i 'm normal just a little weird :razz:

I am spending the morning tearing apart my lappy, got a fan error. Luckily we had a spare lappy with us.
Hey everyone! We just returned from a short yet wonderful holiday get-together with children. Saturday morning we went to our son's home to give gifts, especially too our two grandchild. Big smiles all around. The broad smile from the little ones spoke volumes of joy.
Our daughter-in-law is a social diva. She and our son had a big Christmas party at their home Friday evening then a mother daughter tea party for four Saturday from ten to noon. Then we all drove to our daughters for the extended family holiday feast! Lot's of people, great food and fellowship. Boy, our sweet daughter and her hubby are such loving hosts. After all was said and done Saturday evening Cathy and I checked into our favorite posh hotel for a nice relaxing night. Oh, I failed to mention our late light supper and this morning much too much lavish breakfast.
With light traffic Cathy got us back safe and sound in about two hours. It is so good to be back home!
