Someday I hope to be able to visit Scotland it looks like a really neat place. Would like to see some of the old castles there too. Have you been to any of the castles over in the UK or Scotland?

thanks sissy, it just makes it easier to have a chat, hey jw ive got some of that Anacharis in my pond, soon ime going to have to throw some out as it is taking over, some of it is now 1 metre long from the bottom of the deepend and it has now reached the surface, yeah stick in at the biking jw, good for you ! ime going to scotland next weekend in the caravan next weekend to go mountain biking will be good ! full weekend,

If you lived closer I'd grab some from ya. Maybe you could pack some in a big barrel and throw it out in the Atlantic Ocean and it would drift down through Drake's passage and over into the Pacific and then into Puget Sound where I could run over and pick it up. Don't forget to put my address on it, lol! That mountain biking trip sounds like fun. Would be too much work for me tho. I don't like hills.............unless I'm going down them of course!

I had some that reached the surface, but the goldies ate them up.

Neat jw, camera in the pocket, always! how often do I need to tell you that!

Just casually walk by the pond dip down as if washing your hands, stick some down your pants (ignore the stares as if you wet your self) and go home............................................

Ha Ha addy good idea but think I'll bring a few big buckets next time. I had a tupperware container that I had our lunch in and used that to get what I could.
I'm planning my trip back. Need some nice warm night so I can wade into the muck. Hope I don't fall in or get raided by the cops for stealing weed.
The problem w/ that weed, the goldies eat it faster than it can grow. You need to have tons of it like the pond I invaded. It was literally everywhere! Sounds like you planted yours in pots. I just threw mine in.

I know, I know what's w/ me and this camera thing?

I like that idea and bring suitcases to smuggle his weed home to the U.S. We might end up touring more than castles after the baggage check.

I put weights on mine and tossed into the pond. They grew then the fish had babies which grew then the plant disappeared lol

Oh those lead type weights? I could do that. Lead doesn't hurt the pond?

lol I tied it to a rock! little bit of thread. A few of them came with that fish tank piece of lead on it, just left them as was

Do you think tho that if lead was used on tons of the stuff it would hurt the fish in the long run? Maybe have to go look on the internet.

Too bad there's not some way to allow for the off topic stuff to be visible in a cloud like thingy in each thread where only the people who want to see the banter can see it. Like a hover type deal only visible when hovering over it w/ a mouse. Is this too far out space technology? That way the ones who are just seeking technical stuff could see that part and all of us others could just chat away to our hearts content. My DH always says if humans can think of it then it can be done! You could actually have a button you click before you post an off topic remark so it goes to the cloud. Others could see a # or something and then click to see the remarks. Gosh I'm brilliant aren't I. No need to respond to that last comment. The End!

Great idea JW. You might be onto something. All that wading in weed last night must have given you the idea.

That's a great idea tmann and the weights have little holes to tie the line to. But tmann the lead is concerning me. Do you think it can hurt the fish? I'm talking about alot of pond weed w/ led on each bunch.
