yeh it says on the plant tag it is a male white pine and not to worry I have 3 acres here to plant him and almost 12 acres at the other house so he will be happy .So mogsie I did not make the tree a male LOL the plant nursery did and the guy was just getting ready to throw IT in the garbage since he did not sell .Couldn't let them do that ,poor little guy deserves a chance .And addy it is funny to watch her and the others helping themselves to apples .A lot better than a couple of years ago when I looked out and found a baby black bear sitting in the tree munching away

Nice little tree sissy and you do nice work. Looks like you have quite a large house up there. I wish ours was all one level.............well I see it looks as tho you have a basement but you know what I mean. Easier to paint one level houses. Ours is going to be a pain in the patootsky! Love the deer eating the apples. We don't have apples but they find my plants quite tasty at times.

The two bucks are all that have come around recently, they have a ton of apples to eat. At least keeps them out of my gardens, well so far that is.

My hubby keeps telling me everyday that geez there sure must be a lot of deer around here this summer cuz he and I both see them everywhere we go. Hope they don't run out of food this winter and come asking to borrow some at my back door. I don't keep a lot of deer food on hand.

here there is no place safe enough to ride my bike .These people here need some serious driving lessons .Most of the roads around here barely give you space to have 2 cars passing each other .When you go down there you have to be really carefull .I have done a few truck streaks here .Thats where you have a spotter at the other end of a straight away and see how fast you can go .

Plums do take longer than cherry, mine (in last two weeks) just ripened up, some still getting ripe, the cherries ripe all summer, canning them now, 24 pints or so.

I bought cherry tomato plants this year and some regular tomato plants and someone must have moved the tags around because the cherry tomatoes gave me full sized tomatoes darn tags

Had a ton of cherries, (sissy do you like the yellow ones? they are so sweet) but the stink bugs wiped them out. The plums have done great, my large tomatos have struggled to because of those darn bugs.

I had the yellow ones last year and stink bugs got them and this year did not get them and guess what did not have hardly any stink bugs .I have only seen a few and I think thats because they were foresting here and it drove them out .I found that stink bugs die if you put a little borax in soapy water in a dish .They go for the sweet smell and die and it is great for slugs also .I just made a whole bunch of stewed tomatoes
