Oh ... now I get it. A work bench of sorts, but you keep all your ponding things on it. What a neat idea. I sure have enough parts and pieces of my pond equipment and it all needs to be a little bit more organized ... ok, a LOT more organized. LOL

Thats why I decided to do this and since it is under the covered front porch it is safe from wind and weather and no more rooting around for this or that .Since everything was free even better ,I got tired of looking here or there for a part .Now all I have to do is label each bin The storage under it will be for bigger stuff and odds and ends .

It's about time tired of buying stuff I know I have but can't find I had totes of stuff but never knew which tote it was in and ended up it was always in the last one I looked in .Trying to get 4 different things done at the same time ,redoing the bridge then this ponders bench and revamping a 2 tier bird bath and cleaning out the basement .Seems like every time I get started the neighbors come up to my house with a question about something they are doing and need help .Finally time to eat lunch and rest a bit .

We were sitting in our hot tub out of the woods comes one beautiful 8 point buck! He calmly walked up to our mid yard fence, hopped over walked up to the apple tree and started eating fallen apples. We watched it for around 15 mins before something spooked it, one hop back over the fence and into our woods.

A real beautiful buck.

Sissy, that's what you get for being so darn handy! All the neighbors probably love you, sounds like you help them out a lot. What a great neighbor you are!
Wow, Addy, that would have been beautiful to see. Deer are so beautiful. A friend of mine has large apple trees, he never sprays them for bugs, so never harvests the apples, the deer get them all, and they are daily visitors to his yard, morning and evening. It was so much fun to watch the doe come with her twins. He said one year she had triplets, but one was bigger than the other two, so he always wondered if it was an orphan she took in. :) Thanks for sharing your lovely story!

Very cool to see I bet! Love looking at the deer here too. They love hanging out and eating in a field on the neighbors property in front of our house. He scares them away w/ loud booms to protect his crops. At least he doesn't use real shells anymore as one time they came raining down on our shop when DH was in there. After that he started using the fake shots, thank goodness!

When they built a new house on the corner near us the trees were all mowed down and the workers found a very young fawn curled up in the brush. They gently moved it to the far side of the property near some other woods so mama could come back and find her baby. The fawn did not put up any struggle at all when they lifted it up to move and mom came back to get it as we saw them together many times after.

That's so neat, JW. I saw a fawn get snatched up by a stupid person one day. Mama was walking across the road, I had binoculars on her and her fawn. Baby was maybe few days old at most. When the fawn got on the road, it's legs slipped and it fumbled around. Here comes a car, thinking the baby was hurt (or so they say) guy jumped out, grabbed the baby, and took off! I'm shocked, yelling in my house, ran to door, screaming at the driver, who drove away. Well, long story short, I found out who it was, reported him, cops came and made him take it back to the place he found it. Hopefully the mama found it again.
