I got some good deals shopping around here at the Super Store where they have a temportary garden centre set up in the parking lot, wood chips are on sale for 2.99 a bag and all plants are now 74 cents each. Got some nice dragon wing begonias to fill in some bare spots here and there. I had bought some earlier in the spring and they are doing so nice in sun or shade, they are really good performers for me in the yard, so I could not resist getting more!

Addy it's good to be addicted to something so healthy such as gardening, good for the blood pressure. I had my blood pressure taken yesterday, and I can't believe the numbers, 125 over 80! Never had such good blood pressure for a long time! I can only attribute it to all the hard work this spring in the yard moving heavy stones, redid the walk way, rebuilt the deck this spring, always something, next project is a new fence! I do it all my self cause it's way cheaper than paying someone to do what I can do myself. After all that hard work I feel so good, like I accomplished something. Doing it yourself helps keep us from feeling depressed. I think gardeners are generally less depressed than others, the pride one takes in accomplishing a task that I never thought I could or would get around to doing feels really good for the mind and soul. :)

Sissy could you come and organize my stuff too! Now your going to get me going on the basement after seeing all your hard work! You are just going all the time! Must be the coffee! Ha ha ha :) :) :)

Last picture is of Lilly I got real cheap last year, look how nice it is now!

If anything is bothering me, all I need to do is go out to the pond or garden and start putzing around, or like my honey calls it I piddle! feel better right away, forget all about issues. Blood pressure is usually 115 over 65 or so............unless seeing doc then it is high, white coat syndrome lmao
