OMG, Sissy! I was going to say how could you have stayed away for 30 years. No wonder, I can sure sympathize for you for not wanting to go back. How tragic. That water wheel is huge and so very neat. Thanks for sharing the pic.
Hope you get your water up and running again soon, and with no more problems.

Well so far good news about and from the warranty company for breakdowns in my home .They decided it was safer to replace everything the bladder tank and filters and i want to go with the new amtrol one since I upgraded the well pump to a myers pump .Either well X trol or the well X 1 and they said they would pay for it all minus the 250 deductable .Still no decent water yet in the house so can't use it .They are even going to pay for the bottled water and said if I prefer i can go to a hotel for a week and they will pay for it and gave me the name of several hotels that are nicer ones in my area and also pay for pet care at a kennel so the dogs are not effected .I am giving them bottled water now .They are sending some one here to check the dishwasher ,the fridge and the hot water heat and washing machine and clean out the pipes in the house .Gosh what care for 60 dollars a year ,mutualboiler insurance I think I will keep you .What service and they said i should have called them night or day and they would have had it replaced within hours

ok question for everyone is there such a thing as a 1 inch elbow in pvc or whatever that goes to 3/4 inch on the other side this filter calls for it and the other one was a bent elbow that was made up that the pump installers broke when they disconnected the filter .I could not find one yesterday after looking in lowes and home depot and plumbing supply store is closed due to death in the family .

You can buy a one inch elbow and a bushing to reduce it to 3/4 inch. If you have the room.

Wow, I wish I had a garden center that would take my fish. That's my biggest fear, my pond will generate fish, no one in my area will want them and I'll have to eat them or something.
