Just more owls scoping out the pond this morning, then a dog wandered past and spooked one of them.

This morning the owls must have stayed out late, he showed up at the pond around 10:30 and could barely keep his eyes open! I think he was waiting for her and when she finally showed up, he took off for their favorite trees for a much needed nap.
So I think what we're seeing in this video is how an owl (aside from the death grip of talons) keeps their balance while sleeping, he was balancing himself by throwing his head back. I'd never seen them do that before.
She had a nice refreshing drink and then went off to the same trees. They are never far apart 🦉🦉

I don't understand? Is it a bad plant that is poison or ? It does not show as a video to me, just a photo.
Sorry it was unclear. It was a screenshot from a video, here's another:

Uh Oh! What can you do and wonder where it came from? There could be more from a feral cat or ?

It's likely feral...so many places they can hide that it's just a guess though where it came from. No others have been seen so far, except by the owls maybe.
I fear for the kitten and my dogs...prey drive can be a terrifying thing to watch.

The heart of a lion, size of a small rabbit!

They think they can take on any dog they see. I keep a firm grip when walking them. Leashes wrapped around my wrist.
Also stay on the other side of the road from others.

Everybody in our neighborhood knows them

They greet other dog less walkers. But have a dog, bark like crazy.
