Yes all parts of the coconut very good for you, and my husband drinks lots of coconut water, he used to drink the coconut cream but for some reason he quit and now is drinking the water. I do the oil in my coffee and drink lots of the water. It's all good for you!

The shuddle that my husband will be taking, will take him to Calgary, which is a three hour drive just to get there. I don't know why its so much, but its cheaper than the Greyhound bus, that would cost 70 dollars one way and then it would not take him right to the hospital or pick him up at the door. I think some things just cost more in Canada, like our gas is more money here. It would cost me more to drive him, because it would take close to a tank of gas with my truck, just to get there, and fill up on the way back too, would cost me about a 50 dollars to get him to Calgary, then I would have to drive back, then your whole day is gone, and your tired from driving all day long. I would also have to get my Mom to come let the big puppies out while I was gone the "whole day", and get the day off work..... Just cheaper and easy if he takes the shuddle. He goes up Monday, and comes back Friday, for the weekend, then will go back up Monday morning again. If they had the treatment available in town that would be nice, then he would just go for a hour and be right home, but Medicine Hat does not have this available. I think there are only about three places in Alberta that do radiation treatment. Then I hate driving in the "big city" like Calgary, all the traffic and rush hour can be a headache, never mind the winter drive and all the snow and blowing snow, fog, and icy roads can make the drive much longer.

Doing a surprise "make over" of the kitchen while hubby away this week. I do everything to the house and yard all by myself. Hubby was not "handy" when it comes to these things, I'm the one who enjoys cutting wood and building stuff. Hubby was always out of town working and was always tired, and he worked more hours a day than me, so I just let him help with the dishes and puppies when he can.
He always gets excited when I do some improvement to the home, and I enjoy surprising him. I am currently working on a new kitchen floor.... should be done by Friday, just in time for him to come home from the treatment in Calgary. After several weeks of radiation treatment he will be tired, so I want to cheer upthe kitchen, will paint next week.... :) will post pictures of the floor when done....

Yes, Sissy you are luck to not have to drive miles and miles for your hubby's treatment. My paper fish stay in the greenhouse so they don't get wet, and they do have many coat's of paint.

Yes, hope all goes well with your hubby Sissy, new doctor will be able to better help him. My hubby had three doctors in Calgary, they all work together, one did this, and another did that... till they put my poor hubby back together again! Three doctors and a whole "team" of other "assisting" doctors worked non stop for 15 whole hours while I worried sick waiting.... that's the hard part. It's best to keep busy, takes your mind of things... I had "lots on the brain" and needed to focus on something else, so now I'm suddenly fixing the kitchen, after all these years, now I fix the floor! I hauled everything in the house, those boxes of tile where very heavy. It's some type of click fix vinal "floating floor" just put right on the old floor, no underlay required, EasY PeasY! Till I discovered the tiles were supposed to be "staggered" for a good "fit", and had to take it all apart and re-do today! Then I sliced my finger in the process real good, with the blade to "score" the tile, and man did it bleed... on the bright side I almost finished, with nine fingers left intact! Don't mind the rest of the house, going to "de-cludder" next, then paint, when he is gone next week for his second week of radiation. I don't know what's got into me, but I got to say busy and focus on making everything nice for him. He feels fine for now he says, and most won't feel the effects of the radiation till after the third week. Then I'm going to be "really busy" trying to stay focused and positive. Stay tuned to more "do-it-yourself kitchen Makeover next week! Working hard is good therapy for the mind.... :)

Big foot got in the way of the last pictures!

I am tired, work all morning at the bakery, play with the new floor in the evening... trying to clean all the dust bunny's from behind everything and doing the finishing touches to the edges, the hardest, cause you got to "score" the edges to cut fit everything. Then it has to fit a certain way or it won't lock in right. Needless to say it was all hard work on my hands and knees! But wow is it looking good! Got to get paint next week for the small back door way porch area and going to paint it something bright, like bright yellow or orange, and non of this "faded egg shell" stuff, I wan't real color. My goal in life is to have every room a dramatic different color, kinda like the "50's" look, would look good with this old house. Then I can relax by the pond with the flowers, in one of those long flowing 1950's garden gowns, some of those funny garden lanterns from the 50's, and serve "coctails" and invite all my good friends down, including my "garden forum" buddies"! Got to work again this morning, then take the puppies to the park, and then get working on cleaning the house some more!

great job with the flooring that click and lock flooring is great but be very careful with snow or water on your shoes it can be slippery and watch the dogs with wet feet also ,don't want any slip and falls .Also make sure you wipe up any water because edges will absorb water after awhile and chip because of it .
