I have moved a bunch of boulders that I can't pick up, but can roll, when going up slope I always have something to toss under the rock so it does not roll back down if I have to take a break. A lot of work, you did good colleen!

So many neat things can be made of rocks, I just love my rocks! Here's a picture of some "plastic" stacked rocks for sale at the garden centre in town, it's only a foot and a half tall and they want 30 bucks for it, I would just make my own!

It's raining, it's pouring, my husbands home on the couch snoring!!! Went to the park, but a another cloud made things dark, puppies had to run in the mud! Rained so hard I thought the fish might swim out of the bottom pond, thank goodness for built up rock edges stuffed with moss, no fishes "leaked out"! My swing should be nice and clean for tomorrow!

LOOK it finally quit raining! Thats cause I sent the rain to you as we speak! Ha ha ha, don't complain if the cracks turn to mud!
The heavy rains sure made everything green, even my house!!! Help! vegetation so thick it ate the house! Ha ha ha... My husband tells me the parking lot in Brooks, where he works, had so much rain for so long that the "parking lot turned pond" is growing thick algae like grass!!!

Our house is full sun, anchored down today, we are heading to 98 heat index of 105, guess I need to clean the house lol

We put up another bird house for the lil ones, it is a purple marlin house, but we get a ton of finches, wrens and a bunch of eastern blue birds showed up this year.

Walked at 530a and it was already miserable

That's neat Colleen, birds nesting on your house side plants. Must be very cheerful sounding all the time they are there.
Don't worry heat will be coming your way soon!

Sorry so hot for you. Go clean your house now, lol!

Thanks guys, my husband planted that vine years ago. Its just a wild vine that he got from by the creek, which reminds me, the hill by the creek seems to have changed again, seems to slope more, and has mud running downing the side, will try to get a picture later. There is funeral business there at the bottom of the west side of hill, right next to creek, and bottom of hill looks like it's pushing the back of flower shop located there. As the hill slowly slides..... At least it quit raining now!

City workers came today!! The old sidewalk is out, they framed up the edge, they said tomorrow that they will pack the bottom with this gravel stuff. The flowers got a little disturbed here and there, but it will be nice to have the new sidewalk on Friday. They can't pour the cement till it drys a bit, the ground is still soft and wet. Heres what it looks like today...

good thing you get up early Addy, sounds like you got lots of birds too. Some mornings it's real noisy with all the bird chatter. We get all kinds of little birds too. There are some small yellow finches I think, that hang around a lot too. Hope your walk tomorrow will be better :) :) :)
