Love your pix Colleen and the rock stack looks like it has a tongue sticking out under the top rock face! I first need to get out and gather the rocks again. Tomorrow we go for a bicycle ride as it is supposed to be sunny but not carrying rocks on the ride so be patient Colleen!

Exciting pictures, more color, played with camera adjustments, here's the result, you can see the yellow flag iris blooms in the middle pond....

That yellow flag iris is so darn large it really could be the "mother of all irises!" Ha ha ha. Glad you like my hippy colors!! Was trying to bring the flowers out more on the yellow flag that is now blooming! Have a nice pond day everyone! :)

It rained only two or three times today! Rushed out and worked by the pond for a bit today.
Made this bench with this real big rock I had found by the river, was very heavy, well over one hundred pounds, rolled it into place and heaved it up on the two stumps that I had, their crooked, but so is the ground, so it all worked out. Here's my honey tonight sitting on my home made stump rock collection bench... :)

Thats cool that you found that, my limit is usually whether I can lift it or roll it when it applies by myself. I have a similiar one I was thinking of trying to use for something like that. There is a stone bench near my mother-in-laws where the person is selling the house and seems to be leaving it, have thought about seeing if he's willing to sell it and then buy it if the price is right.

I actually have the other side to that rock, it was split in half, could make another bench on the other side. My husband helped me get the two split rocks from the river, it was very heavy. I had it in the ground before, but then I came up with the idea to make a bench, no one was around that day to help, so I rolled it with gloves on and put it together my self. My hands were sore the next day, so was my lower back, but it went away with large amounts of saturated fat. I really believe saturated fat is very good to help heal. Goggle "the big fat lies", read all about it. I put coconut oil in my coffee every day with large amounts of thick heavy cream, no sugar... I refuse to believe that something we have be eating since the time of the bible is no longer good for us. Its a big fat lie.... :)
