Colleen, It hasn't rained here in over a week. It hit 90's this weekend so I have been watering the flowers a lot.

Rained very hard all day again. In between hourly downpourings of rain, went outside and looked around, things needed to be tied up, plants were drenced and falling over, pelleted by all day hard rain. One of the plant stands with a plant in it just fell over, the ground below just collapsed! Then I sunk out of sight here and there in the yard, one place on the grass I sunk half a foot!!! There is a hill not far off by the creek that appears to be collaping too! Here some picts just before more rain came... will try to get hill shots tomorrow.

Thanks Addy, haven't had to water much this or last month at all, maybe one or two times. husband complained the "utility bill" was too low...... can't complain about that, guess it's because the water bill went down lots!! Wish we could have some really hot days, just to feel what it feels like to be hot, but with my luck it willl come with lots of bugs, something we haven't had much of thank goodness. :) :) :)

Shoesting I'm going to quit hogging the rain and send lots your way just trade me some of your heat!! Sure did rain lots today, several times it came down so hard I couldn't see across the street! Had to put truck in four wheel to get out of that mucky road by river, that was a bit of a" mud fling!" :) :) :)

Thanks Colleen,

We so need it...but I am afraid, as much as I try to blow that heat up North, cross the border...it seems to stick here like mud! Ugh! :( We are currently overcast and they say we should be getting rain throughout the day. I so hope so. Keeping fingers crossed. Gonna still be in the high 80's and w the rain, humidity should not be good. We are heading to the 90's again at the end of this week. AC time again.

Golly, I hope your rain quits and you have some time to dry out! A low utility bill is nice, but if that creek/river continues to rise... Take cae and try to stay high and dry. ;)

:goldfish:

Well the river is roughly the same today, maybe down a couple inches only, creek is flowing well, no flood this week, so all is well, won't worry cause everything going fine, except for maybe this big hill behind my house a couple blocks away. The hill is between me and the creek, the creek is runs along the side of this hill that appears to be unstable. The city has been working all spring on this hill. They removed a large part of the hill that was endangered of falling into the creek, and that would back the creek up quick if the hill fell, not to mention the poor people that live on top on this hill... well there appears to be a large round "sink hole" that has developed recently and here what it looks like... the sink hole is on the top right, and growing by the week, the old hill to the left was worked on all spring with big earthmovers trying to stabilize the hill so people on top don't lose there houses.... not much left of the hill, if they take away too much the houses will fall for sure!

well odd the tap water is still clear .I have been taking samples of my water and the test kit the new well pump installers gave me and water is still not good but did get the new filters and all the new hoses and clamps to put it in .But pump installers told me to wait until wednesday or thursday to put new ones in .I did take tos of my old ones and how they are hooked up so since these are the same units it should be easy to do .I did decide to change out the hoses and clamps why not go all new just in case .Geeze never hope that happens to my hill my house sits on .But then did not work the hill just dug out the basement when the house was done .Heavy rain and the hill will be sliding there .Ok colleen it is today
