They are supposed to be, this winter I will find out. The person I bought it from said it was ......lol And they live in oklahoma, same temperature zone as mine....6b

But I might just pull some in with my tropical lilies and stick them in the basement. But if they don't make it I would get a plant again, the amount you see is from one small root mass. They grow fast and bloom great.

Holy cow, that's a ton of plant from one root mass! I'll have to look for them around here, although I don't remember seeing any like it. I still have not gotten any lillies. Could have gotten some at a huge salt water and fresh aquarium place last weekend, but was too cheap to pay the $15 they wanted for the plant! Geesh!!! I've not paid over $5 for any of my plants yet, so why start now. LOL Will go by a lady's house that has a pond, and hopefully buy a few from her since by now she will likely want to thin out some. :)

Addy, Amazing video. The fish look so natural and happy in their habitat.....one thing, I didn't see the rainbow trout you had in the other picture. He must have been hiding!

I sent him to a corner time out cometkeith, he was running the stream to much.

Here is some video with the bog waterfall turned off like my honey suggested. This is in the 5 foot deep section of the pond, I am hanging over the bog water fall.

I am not sure where the darker fish came from, some are good size, they must be some of the first fry in the pond. Waiting to see if they color up, might not.

The adults and fry......

these are the fry, the little white spots on the liner is some pea gravel for size comparison.

There would be no way to feed it to the computer and the battery would not last long sissy.

That is my olympus stylus underwater diving camera. It is good to 30 feet, when diving I put it into a case, we tend to go deeper than that.

Really good video of your fish. The fantail seems to want to be the star of the show.........always in front of the camera
Do you think the dark ones will turn oj eventually? I have some big goldies that are still dark too. Some are finally turning.

I remember a few years ago when I saw the dark fish for the first time - thought some bird or frog came to the pond with fish eggs from another pond and dropped them into mine! Had no idea fry could be brown. Anyway, all but one turned color - the one big dark one that I have left (have a few dark little dark ones from this years babies) is 3 years old and still dark - no color and definitely does not look like a koi. Maybe a mix of koi and goldfish? Have no idea.

I am not worried about them, I managed to catch a few fry for a friend, talk about a job. There is a lot of water for them to run to. One was a gold one, looks just like a goldie

I have seen a few real dark ones with red starting to show, they are going to be very dark shubunkins.
