Amazing addy on how natural you made it look..........I mean it looks like it was like that from the beginning of time. Very, very relaxing and love the little birds singing away in the background and the sound of the falls as they meander down to the pond. Thought I was in Heaven there for a few minutes and got tranced out and watched it over and over as it was set on auto-play

addy It's really amazing, but I know you tricked us. I think I saw that stream in Colorado last time I was there. There is no way that can be man made because obviously it's natural. Also I think I saw a rainbow trout jumping up from the stream in one of the videos.

All I can say is WOW! Beautiful job, Addy - can't imagine the time and effort that went into that. My husband is going to hate you as you've got my wheels turning now to expand, expand, expand!!

Darn..........I thought I had you fooled! even stuck liner in that stream to make it look man made...........lol

Thanks cometkeith, all started because I ran into the apple trees mowing when I slid off that slope........... humm stream, pond........ My honey is the one that suggested the switchback stream, so we go between fast and slow speed water. With ponds at each turn.

I've said WOW before, Addy, but this closeup set of videos of your stream, unbelievable! Love it all! Now, how about some closeups of your fish? :)

Will do, no koi but pretty goldfish and shubunkins and a ton of fry!

My sweets said here is your anniversary pressie...........now dig your pond and make it what ever size you want..................
He knew I needed something to keep me busy going from two jobs to retired early! when I married him and he was so right lol.

He just asked me yesterday if I want to build another ........................on the other side of the apple trees. Right now the answer is no.

haha! You did a beautiful job. When I told my husband I wanted a pond - he handed me a shovel and said, "It's all yours". I started digging that same day. Basically dug out the whole thing by hand - he helped me lift some boulders - also helped me set up the hoses, filters, etc. I think he secretly loves it just as much as I do!

I am sure he does, my honey loves ours. His job is to earn the money I spend on it lol.

Without the tractor this would never have gotten done.

Like my lil sis said when I was moving across county.......................
how does someone eat an elephant?............................one bite at a time lol

I pick an area and tackle it, when get overwhelmed with that area, move to a new one to play with. The rocks and the stream, that was a killer, climbing that hill a hand full of rocks at a time. And what a pita to make the liner fit the curves of the stream.

Each rock in the stream has had the jump test, they are all stable enough to walk on, that is how I work on it, easier to stand on a sort of flat rock than the slope.
