Well at least when you put the pond in you will know it's in the right place .Hope you find it soon or you might find your grandson out there digging one day and telling you this is the right spot LOL

Hi stevendeede, yes I agree about social networking. I do use Linkedin because I have found that to be very helpful for business, but I don't use Facebook or twitter or any other forum or chat. Generally I have found the people on this site very helpful and genuinely nice people. I don't think you will disappointed by joining in the conversations and introducing yourself. I have learned a tremendous amount since joining and also have been able to help other less knowledgeable ponders. There is no problem mentioning other web sites or providing links to them or, you tube etc if there is something of interest that you want to mention. That is done here all the time.

I don't have enough time to social network lol.

stevedeede, not sure what giant hostas are, we have some that have green leaves with white stripes. When it cools in the fall would be the time to move stuff around. The way the pond and bog plants are growing, all new this year, will easily be able to share some, later this season

giant hostas get bigger and have a flower stalk that can get 5 or 6 ft tall. I had them at my house in N.J.

I have used the rock on a roll stevendeede, I have slopes where it was impossible to hide some of the liner, vertical liner does not hold rocks lol

It hides it well, they have gray and brown now.

hostas come in several varieties they are a bulb/tuber plant spread like wildfire every year they double , look good next to water , kinda like miniature elephant ear plants ... they also flower on a stalk with wonderful white flowers , but they do tend to drop those flowers often and can really mess up your water flow

Laughing lenny, my first pond was a 2x6 about 1.5 feet deep, I thought it was huge, did almost everything wrong, but learned as I corrected all those errors.

Sometimes the smaller ponds are more challenging than the big ponds. You will get there.

This may be somewhat of a duplicate to the showcase, but need to add some done pictures (well never done) pictures to this thread.

Just heard on the news, last year, the year of this build was the hottest ever on record for this area! no wonder I had to be inside by 10 am every day.
