Yes they must be really busy right now preparing and hunting before the eggs are laid. Once that happens there will always be one there, of course.

It is! I've watched them for hours & hours previous years. Gets really fun when the eggs hatch, but the whole thing is worth watching.

How darn cool, just watched one sitting in the nest, another flew in. They did some nest fluffing.

Me too, I didn't get to see them at all today. Every time I look there seems to be more and more corn husks, though. I think I saw cattails too.

One of them is asleep in the nest right now. all tucked in

he/she is yawning stretching then tucking head back under the wing to go back to sleep again.

@j.w @addy1 Eagle is on the nest and egg #1 has been laid! Seems it happened just 20 minutes ago!

Thanks much for the reminder of the eagles. I have spent alot time watching them in past years. It is kind of addicting once you start.
