Had another fantastic hike along the Pike River. Absolutely love this time of year.

I've been camping for the past few days. It was a really great time! I did a lot of hiking and exploring, especially within the Wisconsin State Natural Area #93: Milwaukee River and Swamp. So many songbirds throughout the day, and the chorus of different frog species singing at night.

Love tge dock with sunset crop it centered and it's sellable.

Mrs Fox brought her kids by, we saw two about 150 yards away dusk.................They were running chasing playing so much fun watching them. Then poof back into the woods.

Spotted salamander larvae......
Found adults mating in the pond back in early March. Saw 3-4 massive egg masses. I’ve seen dozens of these guys now that they are getting larger. They especially like to come out at night.

A family of fox will eventually balance out your snake problem

I both love and fear when wild life has no fear in me . but i know all to well there's way to many stupid people out there for them not to be afraid and run away. Here's my latest friends.

We have only seen one cicadid. Sure can hear them in the woods, but none at our house. Well one.
