Encinitas, CA police issued fines to 22 people who were sitting in their cars, eating picnics, watching the sunset. The mayor of Encinitas said "the reality is the virus spreads wherever people meet". I guess she's an expert on viruses now. Fines were for $1000 or up to 6 months in jail.

De Blasio has established a text line in New York City so people can take pictures of people doing things they don't think they should be doing and send it to him. "Enforcement will come right away'". I guess, like my mayor, he believes any complaint constitutes a nuisance.

Again I do believe we need to be careful. I do believe this virus poses a real threat to a certain portion of our population. But I don't think it's an either/or choice. You can be safe and smart without living in a police state.

look at all the people who have tested positive and are getting better.750.thousand cases and if they had stayed out there what would have happened .That is only the ones who have been tested and think how many more have not been tested .Look what happened with drug use and how many die a year and if the cartel keeps trying to get drugs across the border ,then how many will die .Watch borderforce on tv and that will show you how the cartel is trying to outsmart the border patrol .I was shocked when I watched the show ,it is on NGEO on wed. Now they have to xray vehicles .Sad that the government over there became so corrupt that it destroyed a whole country .We need to take any threat with a high alert .Any threat can weaken a country and money makes it work harder to weaken us .

We had to go to the bank today, notary needed. It was interesting.

They had markings for spacing. Most paid attention. One gal standing in the bank with mask in hand, only put it one when she was at the tellers that are behind glass, forget about others waiting. One guy mask on , over his chin, nose and mouth exposed. Leaning on everything, crowding others, rubbing his face, mad that they would not give him his money without id or bank card. Said he lost it and a new one is coming in the mail.

So back to the if we open things again thoughts...............will the population continue safe practices, some will a lot won't. Those of at risk will need to continue for a long time to protect ourselves.

Attended a zoom wedding yesterday, that was neat. They had a gathering of people for after the wedding, we didn't go.

What so many don't understand is the elites have wanted to control the masses for years and now there wish is coming true. This has gotten way way way out of control. Our idiot governor has issued similar for tonight going forward. It won't be pretty if someone tries to give me a thousand dollar ticket when I am sitting in my car. I have seen a woman try to buy a TV and they refused her how do they know hers didn't bite the dust the last month because it was on 24/7

I will not do bill pay ever again .My checks are directly deposited .I had nothing but problems when I first moved here with bill pay and changed banks and still problems .I do not trust banks to get anything right these days .I have plenty in the bank to pay my bills and they had left 2 of them unpaid and I only found out when my electric company wanted to turn off my power .Only bills I have are electric ,phone and cable bill .Then my taxes and insurance once a year .My phone I pay only every 6 months and my cable is the same way .

Things is this pandemic has made us see what we have and appreciate people more who work hard to keep this country working through all of this .The air has gotten cleaner the stars have gotten brighter .Suddenly we see that we do not have run the roads and that staying home can be a good thing for us and maybe we will see the crime go down more .We will become stronger for it .Our children may be missing school but they are getting connected more with the family as a whole .We need to love what we have .

I have been using bill pay for close to 10 years. Have never had an issue but I'm OCD- check my accounts every day. Don't like putting checks out in the mail. All utilities, mortgage, memberships are autodraft. Finally got our trash company set up. Haven't written a check for anything except occasional medical bill in months.
Hubby went for testing this morning. He works for MedStar in dispatch and had a nurse that needed repairs on flight helmet. Nurse got sick and has tested positive. 24 hour wait, Yay!

I started doing bill pay via the net way back when you needed to do dial up, like mid 80's. I would set up the checks on my computer, do dial up, send the checks to the bank via the net.

I have never looked back, don't write checks, everything that can be auto paid is auto paid, tenants send rent right to the bank. Still have the checks we got when we first got married 10 years ago.

But on everything I have alerts, for withdrawals, checks written, deposits etc etc, get a text message and or email. Same with CC's alerts if used by anybody over 10 dollars or whatever the lowest amount you can set it for.

I am not OCD, very seldom check the account, but if anything happens I know. Poor hubby uses a cc before he is even back in the car I get a alert. Do get a email with the account balance every day.

Those of at risk will need to continue for a long time to protect ourselves.

I think that's the point. And people will continue to get sick and some will die. Sadly, there's just no getting around it. The plan was never to stop people from getting sick; it was to slow the rate at which it was happening and allow the medical system to catch up. Those who have reason can continue to take additional precautions.

Unfortunately a purported health crisis has turned into a political battle.
