I lived 2400 miles away from dad, nobody went by unless it was for funds. When I arrived here, he was failing. Not taking his meds correctly, so we hauled him to our house and moved him in and his chocolate lab. Then just paid his own houses bills for him.

My family, except one, all lived with 5-15 miles from him. He was still in the house we were raised in, like 64 years.

I don't know, is it just me? All the whining about how we need to test everyone. What if I'm tested negative today? That means I'm good? Heck no! I could be exposed the very next day and now I'm carrying it.

I think it's just another narrative to use against the President and keep the people suppressed. Look at all the ridiculous restrictions in some areas. You can buy vegetables that may have been touched by dozens of people, but you can't buy seeds and grow them yourself. You can buy liquor, weed and lottery tickets, but can't sit in your car and listen to your pastor.

Now, an antibody test makes more sense. Then at least the people that had the virus and carry the antibodies, can go about their business. They are finding that far more people have had it than was estimated. Most people have very little symptoms, if any.

I think this whole quarantine thing was done backwards. We quarantined everyone when we should have been just protecting the vulnerable.

44 police forces in the country are now using drones made in China to enforce social distancing. They claim they need them where they can't gain access with a police cruiser. Made in China! Are you kidding me! What an easy way to spy on us!

It will be interesting to see what happens as states start to do what they believe is right for their citizens.

We keep hearing in IL "we will peak in two weeks!" We've been hearing that for a month now. Today they say "we will peak MID MAY". We'll be shut down until August at this rate. State legislators are suing the governor in Wisconsin after he shut the state down until May 26. He apparently is exceeding his legal limit on how many days he's allowed to extend. Gonna get interesting.

Well georgia will be a test state, with the gov opening gyms, bowling alleys, beauty salons and whatever else and their numbers are not declining, it will be interesting to see what happens.

It's mathematically impossible to increase the number of tests we do and expect the number of cases to go down at the same time. We don't even know if the infection numbers are on the rise; we only know the number of confirmed cases is going up. They've got us in a permanent lock down if that's our standard. Just keep testing more and more people and your cases will continue to go up. So far they're at like 1% of the population.

The media and all the social media pundits are all about "trust the scientists"... maybe we need to hear from the mathematicians, too.

An elderly woman that we know went to the doctor on Monday (walked in the office on her own two feet) complaining of a GI issue. They took her out of the doctors office in an ambulance (without telling her daughter, who was told she had to wait for her in the parking lot and watched the ambulance leave without knowing her mother was in it) and took her to the hospital and put her in the COVID unit. They tested her and determined that she did not have COVID but since she had been put into the unit, she had to stay as she had now been exposed. They determined she had pneumonia (likely from aspirating vomit) and this morning - less than two days after she took herself to the doctor - put her on a ventilator. She died within the hour. Treated her like a Covid patient even though she had no symptoms. Never addressed the issue that brought her to the doctor in the first place.

Her family is betting that "CoVid-19 complications" will appear on her death certificate.

they told us to trust doctors when they were giving out all those pain meds .It is all about the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer .Older people can hardly feed themselves to live and yet young people are doing drugs that kill and making drug dealers rich .Then we give them free narcan to bring them back from the dead and yet cancer patients want to live and cannot afford meds .This is a sad world we live in .We need to see that making babies for a check is not what we want for our young people .Get a job and be proud of the work you do no matter where you work .I just came back from the store because an older couple here cannot go .Hubby cannot leave his wife home alone and she is bedridden ,so took their garbage away and bought what they needed and some extras they cannot afford to buy .I usually buy them fruit and fresh veggies at the farm market and just lie and say I bought to much for us ,so god needs to forgive my little lie

Our Walmart has now deemed fabric to be a non-essential purchase. A lady in our neighborhood had been making masks for anyone who wished to have one (and it's becoming a trend here in Chicago-land that they are "required" in many places). She went to buy more fabric and was told "nope. Sorry. You don't need none of that."
