I should be sitting at an airshow right now if it weren't for Milwaukee scheduling four big events all on the same weekend and essentially closing down the park I normally sit at.

So, instead I'm home. At least I got to see a DC-3 fly over.

Luck was on my side today. It may have been cloudy, windy, and occasionally rainy, but I got to watch the air show!

More photos to come, but for now here's a photo of Frecce Tricolori. Italy's jet demonstration team.

Doing the please rain, rain dance. We are in drought conditions again.
Us too. Only part of the state, but I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of the state wasn't there soon. The news the other day talked about how we got .02 inches of rain, which ended our 35 day streak. I'm not sure that's even enough rain to count as an end to the streak.

Some photos from yesterday's airshow. It was really tough taking photos in these conditions. The haze was rough. But I was just happy to be there. I needed a fun day.

Partial to the Thunderbirds as they usually perform here at Seafair and do flyovers all over!

It was fun seeing them. It's been like 5 years since they were last here. I tend to prefer the Blue Angels for the aircraft and paint job, but both acts are very similar.

Frecce Tricolori was a much different act and I'm glad I got to see it. Once in a lifetime! Impossible to show in photos but the solo jet did some really wild stuff.

Yep I made a mistake, it's the Blue Angels that usually perform here. They are the ones we enjoy the most! Thunderbirds have flown here also.
