We are dry here but nowhere near suffering like you guys back east and south of us! Mowed yesterday for prolly the last time for awhile as sun is sticking around. Will water some plants today and refill bird bathes but grass is on it's own. Just hoping the predicted lightening storms tonight don't cause any fires! We got a warning from our county to be aware!

Us too. Watering to keep a few plants happy, but grass is dying fast. OTOH, I don't have to mow in this heat :)
Lol only mowed 4 times last year, this year a ton at the beginning of the year. Now haven't mowed in weeks. Grass brown

Have a ton of stuff that needs done outside but can only manage 3-4 hours early in the morning. Grass only growing where gardens were watered.

I water very little. To long of a hose pull to get to plants. A few things get watered but not much.

I saw another refueling tonight, although I couldn't see the F-35 without my camera. But I could hear it!

DHS also went past two more times.

Fun final day of RNC plane watching. Almost makes up for them pushing the Milwaukee air show back a week (except that this weekend looks great for an airshow and next week looks hot/rainy :( )

I'm happy I caught a refueling all four days!

I had a pretty good shot of the KC-135 here. I was hoping they would be refueling at the time but they weren't...

...but then seconds later two F-35's caught up to it.

I even got to see the KC-135 break off of its pattern and head home.

This T-28 was headed to up to EAA Airventure, which starts Monday. I don't think I'm going this year so I'll be watching all of their live cams.

Must be nice to have your own private airshow right over you house. We have small airplanes doing acts over our house, upside down, twirling around etc. as they practice for the airshows :)

A few EAA Airventure-related flyovers the past couple days. Many of the EAA arrivals don't fly through my area but every now and then I see one. There was a B-25 about two miles from me yesterday but I couldn't see it, I did hear it though.

The best was today. Not the greatest view since they were 12,000 feet up, but this is an F4U Corsair and P-51D Mustang. Two very well known aircraft, too. Corsair is "Korean War Hero" and P-51 is "Quick Silver".

Mainly been watching the EAA Airventure air show live streams this week. It's been fun but not as fun as in person.
But I got to see this Christen Eagle fly over me earlier today! That was fun. Planning on seeing more planes this weekend.

My plans to head to an air show this weekend are a bit up in the air (pun intended). But at least I've seen a couple fun flyovers the past two days.

T-6 and Beech 17 Staggerwing. Also saw a T-28 a few minutes earlier.
